Secret: The undead do not die in the fire

In the stone square floating in the void, there stand pitch-black stone pillars, supporting a magnificent and sacred church.

In front of the church stands a hundred-meter-high cross, in front of which are rows of black chairs with backrests.

Adam stood at the foot of the cross, facing the rows of chairs, like a pastor preparing to preach to believers.

He looked towards the entrance of the church, where a priest wearing a simple white robe, a light blond beard, and a silver cross pendant was walking towards him. Adam knew the priest because it was truly himself.

The priest stopped one meter away from Adam and said slowly:
"Ash gave me humanity."

Adam nodded slightly:

The priest looked at Adam with a complicated expression and asked softly:

"I thought you were going to kill me straight away, but you didn't."

Adam's expression was as calm as ever. He took the initiative to sit on the bench and let the priest stand in his original position.

Adam said slowly:

"'God' has revived in me. I am more aware of the original horror than anyone else. Any attempt to contain multiple sources and replace the Creator will eventually be replaced by the Creator."

"The First Flame has always been wary of me. He has always suspected that I, like the Embers, am trying to replace Him."

"For the First Flame, this is a very correct inference. Because He, like Amon, cannot truly understand human nature."

The priest reminded:
"You have no humanity."

"I have." Adam raised his head and said lightly.

The priest was silent and made a gesture of invitation:

"Go on."

Adam narrated in a calm tone:

"Whether it's me or Him, our goal has never changed, to become 'God' and complete ourselves."

"Whether it is the First Flame or the Embers, they are beings from another dimension, on the same level as the Creator. Even in my prime, I did not dare to hope to become the Creator. Adam is now pitting all those who trust in Him.

He raised a big banner, a banner of resistance, but no one knew that he was actually a capitulator.

Adam stared at him for a long time and said slowly:
"Your humanity seems to be a little too rich."

The priest spread his hands helplessly:

The priest held out his hand to Adam, and Adam took it just as calmly.

The next moment, the priest's body began to twist abstractly, and finally turned into a ball of burning flame and entered Adam's body.
