"When the Empire built the fortress, did they really not consider the threat of a Dragon King?" Caslo said bitterly.

"Dragon King? The Empire never expected the Dragon King to come knocking on our door!" Maple Forest Orchid said awkwardly. "Boom!" A violent explosion rang out, and the flying ice shards caused the shield of Lulong Fortress to flicker a few times before shattering with a crash!

"Pfft!" Charlie Pross spat out a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground, utterly dejected.

"Buzz!" As Charlie Pros fell, the out-of-control shield array automatically connected to the stored magic crystal energy, and a semi-transparent shield slowly rose again.

"Caslo! Maple Forest Orchid! Are you alive?!" Renault roared as he rushed out, his body dripping with water. Protected by the War Fortress Shield, Renault was only a little disheveled, but the two dragon riders who scattered and fled were in a much worse state.

"Still alive! Stop yelling!" Maple Forest Orchid flew over, panting heavily. Supplying the dragon's power alone had exhausted him.
