Chapter 740 The Tilted Scales

"Caslo! Hey! Don't you dare die in my face! You're such a nuisance!" Seeing that Caslo was about to faint, Renault quickly reached out his hand, and a surge of holy light engulfed Caslo's body. Various holy healing skills were frantically thrown at Caslo, making him glow with a soft golden light from the inside out.

"Dragon God! Stop it! Before you start treating him, at least pull out this arrow! He's not dead! He's just unconscious!" Kaldo twisted his long neck and complained, looking at the wounds that had mostly healed and Caslo's wounds that had completely healed.

"Sorry!" Renault readily complied, pulling hard on the black arrow, and a thin line of blood flew out...

"Ow!"

"Roar!" The dragon and the man's shrill screams echoed through the forest. One could imagine the pain of pulling the foreign object out of a wound that had healed after it entered.

"Awooo!" Caslo writhed and twisted in pain on the dragon saddle. The intense agony caused his hands to twitch like chicken claws, and his eyes and mouth were crooked, making him look like he was about to die.

"Whoosh!" Renault didn't hesitate either, using Caslo in his left hand and Kaldo in his right, his divine battle aura quickly transforming into healing skills to treat them.

"We have a guest!" Cardo suddenly raised his dragon wings, interrupting Renault's actions.

"Interesting!" Lydalias emerged from the darkness, carrying his battle axe.

"How much fighting power do you have now?" Looking at the blood-soaked Caslo, Lydalias sneered disdainfully. He would avoid a fully-powered dragon rider like the plague, but he had no shame in dealing with a heavily wounded one...

"What a damn bastard!" Caslo shook his head with a wry smile. Although he survived, his internal injuries wouldn't heal anytime soon, and he probably couldn't even unleash half of his strength.

"Renault! What a pity, if only you were a Holy Hero! If you could learn resurrection, you wouldn't have needed to save me. One resurrection would have brought me back to full health, instead of leaving me half-dead like this!" Caslo shrugged helplessly with a dark face. It was a case of a dragon in shallow waters being mocked by shrimp, and a tiger fallen into the plains being bullied by dogs!
"What the hell are you barking about, you piece of trash? Watch how your grandpa kills you!" Renault was already in a bad mood, and seeing the half-crippled Caslo was already making him even angrier, and then this clueless "toad" jumped over and started croaking loudly!

"Boom!" Renault launched a blatant, unsportsmanlike charge, nearly killing Lydalias.

"Whoosh!" A fierce cyan wind blade rushed over, causing Lydalias to frown and quickly dodge. The wind blade cut a line hundreds of meters long before disappearing into the distance.

"Bang!" Lydalias's warhammer, covered in a thick layer of death energy, slammed into Renault with a flick of his wrist.

When the divine battle aura flames on Renault's body touched the power of death, they immediately roared wildly like hot oil meeting water, and a tearing melting sound rang out. The two of them were simultaneously thrown back by the recoil.

Sensing a drop in his battle aura reserves, Renault stared at Lydalias, whose expression was unreadable, with a dark face. The death power enveloping his warhammer had also largely dissipated. No one had fared well just now; after a close fight, they all distanced themselves from each other.

"Is your dragon alright?" Renault jumped off his horse, abandoning his lance, and instead drew his holy sword, leaning against Caslo as he asked.

"He can't fly anymore! But he won't die! Two people and a dragon can take him down without hesitation!" Caslo also exhaled a breath of turbid air and drew his longsword from his waist.

"Roar!" Kaldo, whose wings were injured, transformed into a "giant lizard," his powerful limbs supporting his body as he stood behind Caslo. "Kaldo and I were injured, and although we've healed thanks to your treatment, it still affects our combat strength..." Caslo muttered to Reno while looking at Lydalias.

"It's easy to beat him, but we've lost our speed advantage!" Renault said with a bitter face. The Dragon Knight's strongest ability to switch locations was now completely useless.

"Thump!" Lydalias slammed his massive warhammer to the ground, drawing the attention of the two. Neither of them rushed to attack. On one hand, Caslo and Reno were afraid of losing their grip on the slippery Ringwraiths. On the other hand, Lydalias was afraid of the dragon standing behind them. Getting too close and being caught by the dragon would be a real disaster.

"I'll tear them apart!" Kaldor's pupils turned crimson, and rage surged within him. The dragon's fury was unstoppable! Rage needed to be washed away with blood! The noble dragons had been shot down from the sky and nearly killed by these ants, which enraged Kaldor, who had successfully ascended to the rank of dragon.

"Roar!" As the three faced off, Kaldor launched the first attack, igniting the flames of war. A blue dragon's breath swept directly toward Lydalias like a bolt of lightning.

Lydalias turned and ran without hesitation! Seriously? What kind of brain-dead person would take a bath under dragon's breath? He's a Ringwraith, he's fallen, but he's not stupid!
……

"The Third Ringwraith!" Dos Antony put down his heavy bow and looked at Cernar, who was standing opposite him in the sky, and said coldly. At this moment, he had no intention of helping Caslo. He had already seen that Reno and Caslo had successfully reunited in the distance, so he didn't need to worry about the battlefield there for the time being. Now, all that was left was to deal with Cernar on his side.

"Interesting! They actually managed to get out of trouble this way!" Cernar nodded with interest. Faced with the Ringwraiths in front and arrows below, Dos Antony silently drew his heavy bow and unleashed a powerful shot at the Orc crossbowmen who were still aiming. The long arrow, infused with the power of a thunder dragon, was as powerful as a missile. The violent explosion engulfed the Orc crossbowmen operating the crossbows. Then, Dos Antony quickly destroyed all the exposed heavy crossbows, bringing both sides back to the same level.

"Bastard!" Dos Anthony roared, and the phantom of a dragon appeared behind him, followed by a purple dragon shadow that lunged straight at Cernar.

"Roar!" The purple dragon phantom let out a long roar. Even Senar could not ignore the dragon knight's full-force attack. He could only use a defensive skill to envelop himself in the power of death and withstand Dos Anthony's fierce attack.

"A guaranteed hit skill? How annoying!" Sernar complained.

……

"Damn it! These bastards!" Renault, hunched over and clutching his stomach in pain, stared at the two figures standing in the distance.

"Cough cough!" Caslo coughed up a mouthful of blood, his breastplate caved in.

"Roar!" Kaldor squinted, ignoring the dragon-blood-stained wounds on his body as he cautiously protected his knight.

"Khamur! Scum!" Renault and Caslo exchanged a glance and spat!
Just as the two of them and the dragon were happily besieging Lydilhas, this scoundrel crawled out and ambushed them. Khammur successfully left several wounds imbued with the power of death on Reno and Kaldo, but they were immediately dispelled by Reno. Lydilhas seized the opportunity and nearly knocked Caslo unconscious with a heavy hammer blow.

The appearance of Khammur had terrifying consequences; the balance of power began to tilt in favor of the orcs, and things started to slip out of the control of the Kingdom of Lagrang.

"Bang!" Renault gritted his teeth, raised his hand, and flicked out a magic flare, signaling everyone in Windhelm Town to retreat.
