Chapter 713 Caslow's Appreciation

Chapter 713 Caslow's Appreciation
"There are reinforcements?" Caslo's face twisted in dismay. He had already discovered dozens of mercenaries, and these were just the vanguard.

"What exactly are they plotting?" Caslo murmured, pondering the question.
"Do you usually use this sword, sir?" Weiss's somewhat strained voice came through.

"Of course! What? You like this sword too?" Caslo teased with a smile as he looked at Weiss struggling to hold his sword.

“Of course! I like all swords, but unfortunately I don’t have my own…” Weiss looked at Caslo with envy, his eyes filled with longing for his own sword.

"Oh? You want to become a warrior?" Caslo asked with a curious look.

“Of course! I want to become a great mercenary! That way I can protect my home and my grandfather! Those orcs will never be able to chase us and force us to migrate again!” Weiss said proudly, his eyes shining with sincerity.

"Good ambition, you will succeed!" Caslo nodded in approval of his ideal. After all, he was a natural combatant who was the first to awaken battle qi. He was born to do this job. His talent was much stronger than Caslo's own. At least Caslo had to be guided to awaken his battle qi flame!

"Definitely! I must become a powerful warrior!" Weiss was very satisfied with Caslo's words.

"My lord, how about I become your disciple and you teach me martial arts!" Weiss suddenly changed the subject and said to Caslo.

"Oh? Why do you want to become my apprentice?" Caslo became interested. Could it be that this child had figured something out?
"Your armor is so magnificent, and your weapons are so good. They are obviously more impressive than those mercenaries'. You must be more powerful than them!" Weiss looked up, his eyes full of admiration.

"Oh, please forgive us, sir! Children speak without thinking and don't understand. We won't cause you any trouble!" The old man quickly pulled Viss over and bowed to Caslo in apology.

"It's alright, I won't blame him." Caslo waved his hand gently, indicating that the old man didn't need to be nervous.

"You really want to learn martial arts with me?" Caslo asked Weiss with a playful look.

“Of course!” Weiss looked at Caslo with eagerness.

“Okay, then ask your grandfather if he agrees to you coming with me?” Caslo said, looking at Weiss’s grandfather.

“Grandpa!” Weiss turned to look at his grandfather, and even Caslo could feel the hope in his eyes.

"Um, sir..." The old man's hand was outstretched in mid-air, unsure whether to say no or yes. He could only look at Caslo with a wry smile, and finally forced a smile.

"It's alright, the kid does have some talent, a natural-born warrior! Following me won't be a waste!" Caslo casually guided Weiss's battle aura, which Caslo easily drew out. The azure battle aura flames made Caslo's lips curl into a slight smile. Wind element! Very good!
"This...you...sir...this..." The old man stared blankly at his grandson and Caslo, muttering incomprehensible words, but his wide eyes revealed the shock in his heart.

"You're a professional?" Weiss looked up in amazement, never expecting that the professional he had been longing for would appear right beside him. He jumped up excitedly.

"Hey! Let me correct you, not only am I a professional, you are too! Do you see this wisp of battle aura flame?" Caslo pointed to the wisp of blue battle aura flame and said to Weiss.

"Mmm-hmm!" Weiss nodded repeatedly, his eyes filled with admiration. "This isn't my Battle Qi Flame! It's yours!" Caslo smiled and pointed at Weiss.

"Oh~ Ah?" Weiss nodded subconsciously, then exclaimed in surprise.

“I already told you you’re a naturally awakened warrior! This wisp of battle flame was awakened by yourself; it’s always been within you, which means you yourself are a warrior!” Caslo patted his shoulder. It’s a pity it wasn’t magic that was awakened, otherwise he would be a rare and noble spellcaster!

"Really?" Weiss stared at Caslow in disbelief, trying to find a clue in his face to make sure he was just kidding.

"What kind of look is that? Do I look like the kind of person who would lie to a child for no reason?" Caslo smirked helplessly. This kid's inner monologue was too much!
“Old man, if you think it’s alright to let the child stay with me, at least he won’t be wasted. I am a general under the Kingdom of Lagrange, and I can swear to you on the honor of a knight that I will take good care of him!” Caslo knew what the old man was thinking just by looking at his worried eyes, so he spoke up to dispel his doubts.

"Bullshit! How could you possibly be a general of Lagrang? Lagrang is in the North! You're just trying to fool a child!" Before the old man could react, Weiss immediately rebuked Caslo.

Weiss's grandfather immediately turned pale. Good heavens, whether it's true or not, going all out like that is way too arrogant! Professionals aren't exactly pushovers!

"My lord... Gaa!" The old man immediately opened his mouth to apologize, but when he looked up, he saw a ferocious dragon head. As a result, he lost his composure and was so shocked that he fainted instantly.

"Dragon... Dragon... Dragon..." Weiss's face turned ashen, his eyes lost focus and he just kept calling out the word "dragon" blankly. His brown hair stood on end and he stood up straight!

"Tsk! Kaldo, you scared them!" Caslo muttered a few times in dissatisfaction, a hint of reproach in his eyes.

"Tch! I was just trying to prove your identity! Who knew these people would be so cowardly!" Kaldo, now shrunk back to his original size, climbed onto Caslo's shoulder and said speechlessly.

"Come on! Isn't it normal for a normal person to be terrified when they see a dragon?" Caslo covered his face and said speechlessly. Many people never see a creature with dragon blood in their entire lives, let alone a living dragon!
"Alright, alright, it's my fault! You'd better hurry up and save your little apprentice, or he'll become stupid!" Kaldo said, glancing at Weiss who was still muttering about dragons.

"Clap!"

"Hey! Snap out of it!" Caslo patted Weiss's rosy cheeks and whispered.

"Ah!" Upon regaining consciousness, Weiss unleashed an ultrasonic attack on Caslo. The piercing scream struck Caslo's eardrums, causing Caslo's face to contort in pain.

"I hate kids... Can I smother him? He's too noisy!" Cardo said weakly.

"Ugh!" Weiss immediately covered his mouth, staring in horror at the miniature dragon on Caslo's shoulder.

"Look! It can understand human speech. Don't worry, I'll eat children one bite at a time!" Cardo pretended to be fierce to scare Weiss.
