Chapter 367 Conspiracy
Due to the generally lengthy and tedious reporting format of the Loen military, the more formal pre-war transfer orders are usually divided into two parts. The upper part explains the reasons for the transfer and the personnel to be transferred, and the lower part introduces the destination and combat plan.

Adele opened the second half of the report. This one was much thicker than the previous one, and it took Adele a while to finish reading it.

However, after reading the new transfer order, Adele not only did not feel that her situation had become better, but became even more confused.

"Instead of letting me go to the front line, you let me investigate what I want to investigate?"

Adele talked to herself, puzzled by the military's arrangements.

The report mentioned that since this is a colonial area with a complex religious composition, not to mention the previous incident of a priest mutation, coupled with the various things that the Yukikaze encountered at sea, the top brass believed that someone was needed to stabilize the rear after the expedition.

Because Adele had previously shown interest in ayahuasca and the priest mutation incident, in order to resolve this matter, the military decided to leave Adele alone in the rear base to cooperate with the local police department to conduct a thorough investigation of the ayahuasca incident starting from the sales channels.

The reasons for these transfer orders are all very sufficient when taken individually: war does require a stable rear, and extraordinary beings like witches are indeed not suitable for cooperating with each other in the same channel, but when they are put together, it makes people feel awkward no matter how they think about it.

Although there must be reasons in this regard, the real reason is definitely not this... Adele subconsciously touched her earlobe. The military's approach was still as rough as usual:

For some unspeakable reasons, I want to arrange something for you, so I just find a reasonable excuse to arrange something for you. It would be best if you can't find out this disguise, and if you do find out, it would be best if you pretend not to find out. Anyway, the military has made the decision...

How about going to see Tracy's reaction first?
Adele made up her mind, walked out of the room and came to Tracy's side, knocked on the door, and found that the door was not locked.

Adele pushed the door open and walked in, and found Tracy staring blankly at her transfer order.

"Have you received your next combat mission?"

Adele looked normal and greeted Tracy.

"Well, I am to command the ironclad ships to exert pressure on Aleser and intercept any ships that attempt to leave Aleser."

Tracy nodded in response, but Adele always felt that she lacked confidence.

"It seems that the transfer order is indeed correct." Adele nodded. "My transfer order requires me to investigate the matter of Ayahuasca in the rear, away from the front line."

"this?"

Tracy looked a little embarrassed. After all, she and Adele had just analyzed that the military might not be able to thoroughly investigate some historical issues left over in the southern continent at the same time as the decisive battle, so the military transferred Adele.

Adele secretly observed Tracy and found that her eyes were a little evasive.

Combined with her previous performance, Adele had a vague guess in her mind.

"She knew I would be transferred, but didn't she know I would be transferred directly to the rear? Who told her, someone else in the military?"

Thinking of this, Adele suddenly realized something. Tracy didn't seem as helpless as she appeared. She had worked with some people in the royal family and the military before, and it was very likely that she still retained some connections.

And now, the kingdom can completely use these connections to reveal some information to Tracy in advance... This signal represents a lot of things.

Although the kingdom is now cooperating with the Source Sect of the Witch Cult, it does not mean that the kingdom really wants to put all its eggs in the Source Sect's cage.

The Loen royal family, who had mastered the path of the "Judge", always liked to create divisions to profit from them, whether dealing with foreign enemies or teammates. In the Battle of Forsaken Oath, Loen gained most of the benefits by dividing Feynaporte.

By giving allies different levels of benefits, he created a rift between the two sides, thus creating a split, and then maintained a balance between the two parts, and eventually took everything from both sides. This method was as natural as breathing to William Augustus, who was once a Sequence 2 "Balancer".

Now, the two parties are the Source and True God factions. The Source faction is backed by the angel Gegran, and although Tracy is backed by the True God faction, it is difficult for her to get support from the True God faction. The kingdom will naturally make good use of Tracy and give her some support so that she can suppress Adele without Gegran's intervention.

This kind of support will naturally not be too obvious, but the current transfer order is indeed a way:
Tracy could naturally reap the benefits of war on the front line with the help of the general offensive, and might even be promoted to demigod with the support of the kingdom. The needs of the ritual could be met in the hostile cities of West Balam.

Adele, on the other hand, was assigned to the rear to investigate a huge unsolved case. Not to mention just a few days, even if she investigated until the end of the world, she might not be able to figure out the complicated situation in the rear. It is estimated that she will be far behind Tracy in terms of achievement.

Thinking of this, Adele looked at Tracy again and found that her expression was particularly awkward. She wanted to say something, but gave up after opening her mouth.

Adele sighed inwardly, knowing deep down that this was bound to happen.

The military will not care what you think when arranging similar tasks. These are all open conspiracies. Even if you know the connection, even if both sides talk frankly, as long as there are indeed differences in positions, the military will deliberately treat them differently and still form two sides that can be balanced.

Tracy might have figured out the connection here, but the problem now is that if she accepts the transfer order, she will offend the Source Faction; if she does not accept the transfer order, she will offend both parties, which would almost force Tracy to take office.

The witch who created the conflict could not escape from the conflict in the end...

After figuring out the reason, Adele stopped insisting and changed the subject. She exchanged a few simple words with Tracy before leaving.

With the military, the angel who used to be the "balancer", continuing to fan the flames between the two sides, Adele doesn't think she can maintain the relationship between the two.

In fact, this problem can be solved naturally as long as one party is willing to suffer a loss; but this incident did not happen by chance. The "founding father" William Augustus could create a conflict once and then a second time, until one party could no longer rely on suffering a loss to solve the problem.

As for other solutions...I'm afraid they can only be solved after Adele completes her mission in the southern continent and returns to Indo Port. Before that, all Adele can do is wait.
