The Hogwarts Emerald

Chapter 671: The Siege of Dingworth

Chapter 671: The Siege of Dingworth (Part )
"No!" Bill shouted. He seemed to have seen the scene of Mrs. Longbottom's head and body being separated.

However, the blood and flesh flying as Bill imagined did not appear, and Augusta Longbottom had already seen the huge axe coming towards him.

Faced with the giant axe that was chopping towards her, Mrs. Longbottom did not retreat in fear, nor did she stand there in shock. She simply changed her running rhythm slightly, causing the fatal axe to miss and hit the open ground hard.

The giant seemed to be using all his strength. The moment the giant axe hit the ground, dust flew up, the ground shook, and the axe sank deeply into the ground.

Having dodged the fatal attack, Mrs. Longbottom turned around and fought back.

But ordinary spells cannot cause harm to giants. Instead, they will anger them and make the bloodthirsty giants even more violent.

The manic giant wanted to kill the tiny ant in front of him, so he tried to lift the giant axe that was stuck in the ground. Perhaps because he had used too much force before, he was unable to lift the giant axe again immediately.

When the giant raised the axe for the second time, the vigorous Lady Longbottom had long disappeared, and he was greeted by two spells, one after the other. One spell hit the back of the giant's neck hard, and the other spell flew to the giant's eyes.

Clang, boom, two deafening noises exploded in people's ears one after another.

The cruel giant did not look cruel at all at this moment, but rather a bit pitiful. The giant rolled on the ground in pain, covering his face with his hands, and kept wailing.

Even more pitiful than the giant were the werewolves. Two of them were planning to come over and grab the head, but unexpectedly the giant suddenly fell down and hit them both.

It would have been bad enough that the giant used him as a human airbag, but he kept rolling and crushing the two unlucky werewolves, and his huge weight almost crushed the werewolves' intestines.

And what about Augusta Longbottom?
Mrs. Longbottom, who was a skilled fighter, kept her fame to herself at this moment, and walked away without paying any attention to the fallen and wailing giant.

Even though he successfully resolved his own crisis, Bill didn't dare to let Mrs. Longbottom run around alone. Bill quickly chased after her, fighting side by side with Mrs. Longbottom, and together they rushed towards the Death Eaters behind them.

The two kept charging forward, like two sharp knives piercing the enemy's formation. More and more giants, werewolves, and Death Eaters were attracted by them and set their targets on Mrs. Longbottom and Bill.

The seemingly reckless act actually had a miraculous effect, as Mrs. Longbottom and Bill disrupted the enemy's attack.

The two men who were being chased by the giants would cause chaos wherever they went, causing the Death Eaters' attack on Dingworth to come to a halt.

An unexpected reversal!
The good times didn't last long. After all, Mrs. Longbottom and Bill were alone, and they were soon surrounded by giants and werewolves.

The giant's double resistance was fully stacked, and the werewolf was agile. Even though Mrs. Longbottom and Bill were very skilled, it was still difficult for them to kill through the enemy with their own strength.

In addition to the unique salty smell of the seaside, the air was also filled with the fishy smell of the wolf's mouth.

The werewolves let out hideous laughs and surrounded the two men, wanting to tear them to pieces with their sharp fangs.

Bill's throat rolled up and down. He could already see the werewolf's yellow teeth, and he remembered the night when he was bitten by the werewolf.

"Weasley boy, what are you afraid of!" Mrs. Longbottom shouted loudly, and she and Bill stood back to back, protecting each other.

Bill wanted to tell Mrs. Longbottom loudly that he was not afraid, but he knew he could not deceive her, who had seen all kinds of life, and he was indeed afraid.

The pain of being bitten by a werewolf is unforgettable. There is great terror between life and death.

"Weasley boy, it's not shameful to be afraid. What's shameful is that you don't dare to face your fear! Fight bravely like a Gryffindor! Never give up until you die!"

As Mrs. Longbottom spoke, she waved her wand violently. Every time the wand was swung, it made a faint sound of breaking through the air. Augusta Longbottom's words were not very inspiring, but it didn't take a heavy hammer to make a drum sound. Just this simple sentence made Bilton feel full of pride and fighting spirit!

Yes, what am I afraid of? I dare to resist the mysterious man with terrifying strength, so what is there to be afraid of about a little werewolf!

"Come on, wolf cubs!" Bill shouted.

The scar on his face was made more hideous, even more terrifying than the werewolf in the dark.

The three werewolves looked at Bill greedily, as if they were looking at a delicious meal, and then they rushed towards Bill quickly from different directions.

Is it so easy to deal with Bill, who dares to face his inner fears?

Don't forget, Bill was the president of the male student union while in school, and he even obtained 12 certificates in the OWLs exam. He is a very outstanding wizard.

Bill did not attack the werewolf closest to him first, but pointed his wand at the tall werewolf attacking from his left.

A red light flashed, and the werewolf was wrapped in a powerful spell and flew far away, falling into the darkness, his life or death unknown.

Then the wand turned, and the werewolf attacking from Bill's right side seemed to have hit a solid wall, becoming dizzy and unable to continue attacking.

At this moment, the werewolf closest to Bill leaped forward, intending to knock Bill to the ground and drink the warm blood from the prey's neck.

But Bill was not at all panicked, as if his previous fear of werewolves was just pretend.

Bill kicked the werewolf right in the soft abdomen. The werewolf fell to the ground, curled up like a shrimp.

Bill is an outstanding graduate of Gryffindor College. Godric Gryffindor was a ruthless man with a sword in one hand and a magic wand in the other. As a disciple of Gryffindor, Bill inherited and carried forward this fine tradition.

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

The vicious curse instantly passed through the gap between the giant and the werewolf and flew towards Bill.

Bill, who had just killed two werewolves, also saw the red light. He was about to resist when he saw Mrs. Longbottom had already stopped it for him.

"Rabastan Lestrange!" cried Mrs. Longbottom, through gnashing teeth. "I will return this curse to you, one curse after another!"

Although the giants are strong and powerful, their movements are relatively clumsy; although the werewolves are agile, when they remain in human form, they are far less attacking and intimidating than when they are in a full moon; the truly threatening Death Eaters are cruel, brutal and bloodthirsty Death Eaters.

Seeing the Death Eaters surrounding them, Mrs. Longbottom and Bill were in more than ten times the danger they had just faced. Death Eaters used killing moves, and the damage they caused to wizards was not comparable to that of giants and werewolves.

As the saying goes, a tiger cannot stand up to a pack of wolves. But as the old saying goes, it takes three stakes to make a fence, and it takes three men to make a hero.

Mrs. Longbottom and Bill were not fighting alone, nor were they without teammates. Sidorov, Hartman, and the one-eyed female Auror all three passed through the enemy lines.

These three people stood together with Mrs. Longbottom and Bill, facing the real main force attacking Dingworth - the Death Eaters.
