Chapter 519 A battle without any suspense

Chapter 519 A battle without any suspense

Ten to three, with three people from the Ministry of Magic fighting one, they still have one left over, but unfortunately combat power isn't calculated that way.

Ada can beat them all by herself. Sergei and another one named Sidorov are just insurance, there to provide support.

It can be said that the sudden appearance of Sergei and Sidorov made the situation on the Auror side take a sharp turn for the worse. Especially the people from Siberia, they felt very oppressive towards the people from the British Isles. This was even more obvious among the fans.

Dawlish was hiding in the Ministry of Magic, and was closely protected by his colleagues, who did not give Ada a chance to attack. Suddenly, Dawlish wanted to go home to get clothes and get out of protection. This intention was too obvious, who would believe it?

Since she knew it was a trap, Ada would not fall for it. She could take the bait, but she would not take the hook.

So Aida arranged for Sergei and Sidorov to ambush, and the other three people stayed outside to provide support and at the same time take on the responsibility of blocking the enemy's reinforcements.

Even though Ada had helpers, Scrimgeour remained tough. He was an Auror who had experienced the darkest period in the British wizarding world. There were just two more people, but that didn't scare Scrimgeour.

"Drizzt, even if the Ministry of Magic is wrong, what right do you have to deprive those Aurors of their lives?" Scrimgeour said, "Put down your wand and don't let your men lose their lives because of you."

Ada observed the positions of the Aurors present and said, "I said that I admit my crime, but you don't have the ability to judge me. Who can I blame?"

After saying that, Ada took the lead and cast a stunning spell directly at Scrimgeour.

At the same time, Sergei and Sidorov also took action. Together, they held back five Aurors and prevented them from joining the team besieging Ada. Ada was surrounded by five people including Scrimgeour and Dawlish, outnumbering five.

Aurors are the best wizards in the wizarding world. They may not be masters, but they are definitely not scumbags. This is also the reason why Fudge dared to suppress Dumbledore, because he is the Minister and he controls most of the Aurors in the Ministry.

Amelia Bones was trying to become the Minister, and Fudge was not idle either, trying to find ways to sideline the Director of Law Enforcement. This was similar to how many emperors would guard against their own princes.

But indulging in the power struggle, Fudge forgot that they were wizards, forgot the vastness of magic, and forgot the insignificance of life. The Ministry of Magic had been away from the wizard war for so long that they had forgotten who the ceiling of the wizarding world was.

And today, Ada will make them understand that in the face of absolute personal strength, those power struggles are nothing but an extremely unfunny joke.

Ada, fighting one against five, had the advantage and was suppressing five people alone.

It was as if there was an invisible barrier around her, and the attacks of Scrimgeour and others could not cause her any harm. Every time Ada cast an offensive spell, the Aurors would panic.

In this outnumbered fight, Ada surrounded them all by herself. The Aurors were forced into a state of panic by her, but Ada herself did not blush, was not out of breath, and even her hair was not messed up.

Precise, graceful, and calm, every step Ada took, every movement and amplitude of her wand swing seemed to have been measured. Ada shuttled between the five people as if she was in an empty space.

A flash of red light passed by, and an Auror fell to the ground. This man was not very old, and being able to become an Auror showed his excellence, but he was easily knocked down by Ada's Stunning Spell.

Another spell flashed, and a wand flew far away. The Auror who lost his wand wanted to get his weapon back, but before he could move, vines grew out of the ground.

These vines grew wildly and bound the Auror tightly in just a few seconds, leaving him unable to resist.

After defeating the two men in a flash, Ada had no intention of stopping. She cast a series of spells at Dawlish, including stunning spells, disarming spells, and crushing spells.

These spells made Dawlish so confused that Scrimgeour had to give up the attack and help Dawlish resist.

It was this gap that gave Ada a very short one-on-one opportunity. Ada did not waste it and directly knocked out the other Auror with a Stunning Spell.

Less than three minutes had passed since the start. If it was a duel, both sides would probably be testing each other, but Ada had already knocked down three people. Now, only Scrimgeour and Dawlish were left around Ada.

Being able to gain Fudge's appreciation and trust, and being praised by Dumbledore, Dawlish is indeed an excellent Auror. But when facing wizards of the same level as Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Ada, excellence is far from enough.

Scrimgeour was the head of the Auror Office. Those who could hold this position were very capable. He was also the most capable of those who ambushed Ada. But when facing Ada, even the tough and unyielding Scrimgeour was unable to defeat her. He really couldn't beat her. Among the five people, only Scrimgeour could cause some trouble to Ada. Dawlish was slightly inferior to him. The three people who were already lying down were all defeated in vain.

This was the case when Ada had no intention to kill. If she had, the ashes of Scrimgeour and the other four would have been refined by now.

After blocking Ada's attack, Scrimgeour and Dawlish teamed up to fight back again. None of the five of them could hurt Ada at all, let alone now that there were only two of them left.

Ida waved her wand three times in a row. The first time was to defend against the attacks of Scrimgeour and Dawlish, the second time was to cast a ray of fire, and the third time was to stir up a gust of wind.

The wind fanned the flames, and the fire burned more and more vigorously. Ada didn't even look at it, but turned and ran to the other side of the small garden.

The battle at the other end of the small garden had already entered a white-hot stage, with spells flying out from different wands one after another. The battle was much more exciting than that on Ada's side.

Sergei and Sidorov have known each other for many years, and both have been trained by Vader, so they can be considered experienced in actual combat. Although they are outnumbered, the two of them only defend and do not attack, like they are wearing a turtle shell, and the staff of the Ministry of Magic cannot tear open a hole.

Only when the Aurors wanted to support Scrimgeour would one of Sergei and Sidorov attack to make them come back. If it weren't for Ada's words, Sergei and Sidorov would have been beaten to a pulp by now.

The sudden appearance of Ada caught the Aurors off guard, and in a blink of an eye, the five of them were lying on the ground, unable to resist.

Only a few minutes have passed since the battle began, but it can already be declared over.

Ada and the other two walked towards Scrimgeour and Dawlish, who had just put out the flames that Ada had unleashed.

The advantage in numbers was immediately reversed, and the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic lost their only advantage, going from ten against three to two against three.

"It seems you can't take me back to the Ministry of Magic today, Mr. Scrimgeour." Ada said, and as she spoke, Sergei and Sidorov walked to the other side, separating Scrimgeour and Dawlish.

Scrimgeour looked at his colleagues lying on the ground, some of them were knocked unconscious, some were tied up like dumplings. He was the head of the Auror Office and the direct supervisor of the Aurors, but he was very disappointed with the performance of the Aurors today. Scrimgeour's face was hurt from being hit.

"Justice may be late, but it will not be absent. You will pay the price for your wanton killing." Scrimgeour's eyes were still sharp, but his robe burned by fire showed the outcome.

"I don't know what justice is in your mind, I only know mine," said Ada. "Victory is justice, Mr. Scrimgeour."

Scrimgeour closed his eyes. He didn't want to argue with Ada anymore. He said, "Go ahead. We are no match for you."

"Do it? No, no, you misunderstood, Mr. Scrimgeour." Ida said, "Only one person will die in this garden today."

As he finished speaking, Scrimgeour heard a "bang" behind him. He turned around and saw that Dawlish had fallen to the ground, dead.

First, they were completely defeated, and then Dawlish was killed in front of him, which made Scrimgeour very angry. Scrimgeour was furious and wanted to fight with Ada to the death.

But before Scrimgeour could recite the spell, he heard a snap of fingers, and then felt his hand lighten, and his wand disappeared. After his wand was taken away, Scrimgeour immediately turned to Ada, and sure enough, his wand was in her hand.

"I have no intention of humiliating you, Mr. Scrimgeour. I just want you to pass on a message for me," Ida said. "When you get back, please tell Cornelius Fudge to wash his neck and wait for me."

Ada flipped her hand, and the wand flew straight towards Scrimgeour as if it was precisely guided, and was inserted into his pocket in Scrimgeour's surprised eyes.

"Oh, there's one more thing." Ada continued, "If you choose the wrong side again next time, I can't guarantee that I will be as merciful as I was today. After all, I am a 'brutal and bloodthirsty' person."
