The Hogwarts Emerald

Chapter 461 Little Whinging District

Chapter 461 Little Whinging District
The evening breeze was gentle, and the fan was creaking as it turned, delivering a cool breeze.

Aida was lying on a hard bed with his arms and legs spread out, looking like a useless person.

There are no hard beds or electric fans in Rose Manor. Ada is now staying in an orphanage in Little Whinging, Surrey.

As for why Ada appeared in this orphanage at this time, it was really a case of a child without a mother. It's a long story.

It all started with a letter from Fred and George, which said that Dumbledore hoped that Ada would return to England as soon as possible. After discussing with her grandmother Vida, Ada hurried back to England, catching up with the hot summer in England this year.

After meeting Dumbledore, Ada joined the Order of the Phoenix he founded without saying a few words. Everything went smoothly so far, but when they were about to leave, the two had a disagreement over a small matter.

Ada wanted to visit the welfare village in Hampshire. She had wanted to go there for a long time. However, Dumbledore hoped that she could put it aside for the time being and talk about it later.

So, feeling wronged, Ada ran away in anger and went to the orphanage in Little Whinging.

Ms. Valente, who had lost a lot of weight, received her warmly. Taking this opportunity to stay with her, Ada also wanted to repay Mrs. Mary for her care over the years, so she donated a sum of money to the orphanage.

The amount is not much, just a token of my appreciation.

Tonight is Ada's third night living here. Just as she was thinking about whether to take a shower and go to bed directly, or take a walk before taking a shower, the phoenix Fox suddenly flew in and threw a letter on the table.

Before the lazy Ada could react, Phoenix Fox had disappeared. Reluctantly turning over, Ada stretched her arm and picked up the letter from the table.

After opening the envelope, Dumbledore's long, crooked handwriting came into view. After simply glancing at the contents of the parchment, Ada sat up from the hard bed.

She hurriedly changed into her going-out clothes and left her little room while tying her hair.

Under the astonished gazes of Ms. Valente and Miss Nelson, Ada turned into a woman as fast as the wind, hurriedly ran out of the orphanage and disappeared into the night.

The reason for this urgency was simple: something had happened to Harry Potter. This evening, in Little Whinging, Harry had been attacked by Dementors.

Dementors, the guards of the wizard prison Azkaban, should stay in the cold waters of the North Sea. Why did they appear in Little Whinging? And they just happened to meet a wizard whose name happened to be Harry Potter!
If there was no trick here, no behind-the-scenes manipulation by the Ministry of Magic, Ada would kneel down and kowtow to Fudge on the spot!
Through the magic of Apparition, Ada appeared on Privet Drive.

The big, square houses on both sides of the street were shrouded in a sleepy silence. Only the roar of the man from house No. 4 could be heard from outside.

"Owl! It's an owl again! No more owls in my house!"

The voice was full of energy, as if the host had his own speakers when he spoke. Ada shook her head, dispelling the whimsical thoughts in her mind, not wondering whether Vernon Dursley's big belly could fit a speaker.

Yes, Ada knew Vernon Dursley. The word "know" should not be used. She had only met the fat Vernon a few times.

The first time they met was of course the day Ada first met Harry. She saw him from a distance when she sent him home. The next few times were at King's Cross Station. Even though Vernon disliked his nephew Harry very much, he would go to the station to pick him up every summer vacation.

Walking forward, Ada rang the doorbell, but no one answered, only Vernon's angry questioning voice came out. She rang it again, but the result was the same, no one came to open the door for her.

At this moment, there was a loud bang in the house, echoing continuously, followed by a woman's scream and a man's angry roar.

Ada didn't care about being polite anymore. She didn't wait for anyone to open the door, and directly used her magic wand to poke open the door of No. 4 Privet Drive. Although Ada didn't have the means to enter and exit any community with a pack of instant noodles, she had "Alaho Open".

Pushing the door open, there was a pool of foul-smelling vomit on the doormat. Ada frowned and pinched her nose as she walked around the dirty thing. She walked through the lighted living room and came to the kitchen of No. 4 Privet Drive.

In the kitchen, Harry was holding two letters in his hands and arguing with Vernon with his neck stiff, while Petunia was taking care of her son Dudley, a shivering lump of fat, with a panicked look on her face.

"I'm sorry, I know it's rude to barge in like this, I just thought you were attacked again." Ada said sheepishly standing at the kitchen door, poking her hair awkwardly with her wand. Most of the time, Ada is a polite and reasonable person.

"Who are you? Why are you in my house?" Vernon Dursley shouted, and he suddenly picked up a knife from the kitchen counter. The size of the knife was very disproportionate to his body.

Harry turned around and saw Ada, and the anger and fear on his face disappeared. The girl in a white T-shirt and blue denim shorts always had the magic to reassure her friends.

"Ida!" said Harry. "You've come just in time!"

Ada responded to Harry with a playful wave of her hand.

When Ada heard Vernon's roar like a bull at the door, she felt relieved. The fact that they could still argue so loudly showed that although Harry was attacked, he himself was not seriously injured.

I opened the door myself and broke into the house, just because I was worried that Harry would do something impulsive.

Harry is now in adolescence, impulsive, rebellious, and he has always had a delicate relationship with his aunt's family. After all, he has a precedent of bragging about others.

"Who are you?" Vernon continued to yell, and in his anger he did not recognize Ada in front of him.

"Esmeralda Drizzt, Harry's senior. Mr. Dursley, I advise you to put down the knife, or stop shaking your hands when you hold the knife." Ada said, pointing to a sofa and asked, "Can I sit down?"

Before Vernon could say anything, Ada's long white legs moved. She walked straight to the sofa and sat down.

"Ada, I was attacked by Dementors! I used the Patronus Charm!" Harry said quickly, "Then, I received a notice from the Ministry of Magic that they fired me!"

Harry handed the two letters in his hand to Ada. One was a punishment notice from the Ministry of Magic, which read:

Dear Mr. Porter:
We received information that you cast the Patronus Charm in front of a Muggle in a Muggle neighborhood at 9:23 tonight.

This is a serious breach of the Reasonable Restraint of Minors Act, and you have been expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Ministry of Magic will soon send representatives to your residence to destroy your wand.

As you have already been formally warned for violating Article 13 of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy, we regret to inform you that you must appear at the Ministry of Magic at 9:00 AM on August 12th to appear.

The other letter was from Mr. Weasley, and the bang that Ada heard was caused by the owl that was delivering the letter, which had crashed headfirst into the cleaned window.

Harry:

Dumbledore has just arrived at the Ministry of Magic and is investigating the whole thing. Do not leave 4 Privet Drive. Do not perform any more magic. Do not hand over your wand. Ada is on her way and she will protect you.

Arthur Weasley

Putting the two letters on the table, Ada had roughly understood what was going on tonight. There was indeed something wrong.

It must have been Fudge, or one of his men, who had sent the Dementors to Little Whinging, authorizing them to attack the innocent Harry.

If Harry didn't resist, he would be sucked dry by the Dementors; if he resisted, he would violate the laws of the wizarding world. The Ministry of Magic, which always had a bad brain, actually understood what it meant to block both ends, which was something Ada had never expected.

Either have a kiss with the Dementors forever, or go to Azkaban and eat a big bowl of prison food, the choice is yours!
