Chapter 284 Dementors

Ada is the only person in Hogwarts who dares to challenge the professors and arm wrestle with them. Her name and her sweet voice like wind chimes seem to give all students a reassurance.

The noisy and chaotic carriage suddenly became quiet, and the students' heads retreated back into the compartments. A person's reputation is like a tree's shadow. What Ada said was much more useful than Clark's.

"Something's not right. Should I go ask the train driver about the situation?" Clark also realized that something was wrong, so he suggested.

"Stay still and take care of the students in this carriage first." Ada shook her head and rejected Clark's proposal. The situation was unclear and the carriage was pitch black. If you walked around casually, you might get into danger.

The car was getting colder and colder, and the white mist from the exhaled breath became more obvious.

Suddenly, the sliding door of the train opened!

Negative emotions such as fear and sadness made the students in the box want to escape, but their bodies completely disobeyed them. Some fell to the ground, and some couldn't even stand up.

Ada also felt unprecedented sadness, as if she had returned to the last moment of her life.

The Chow Chow rubbed Ada's calf affectionately with its big head, and then squatted down at Ada's feet.

"Thank goodness you're here," Clark sighed, "otherwise I really don't know how this would end..."

"Let's not talk about this for now." Ada took out a few pieces of chocolate from her pocket and put them in Clark's hand.

Ada continued, "Give these to them, and ask them if anyone has extra chocolate or candy. I'll go check out the front."

"Okay, you...you be careful." Clark said as he started distributing chocolates.

Ada didn't delay any longer and walked directly to the front carriage. The silver-white Chow Chow stayed where it was and did not leave with Ada.

The Hogwarts Express suddenly stopped, and Dementors entered the carriages and attacked the students. Ada didn't think this was an isolated case, and there was definitely not only one Dementor on the train.

Of course, these Dementors appeared here for a mission, but the "delicacies" in front of them made them lose control.

"Hello, Professor Lupin." Ada said politely.

The new professor in front of her was this year's unlucky guy, and Ada began to worry about him unconsciously. With such a sickly look, could he really survive this semester?

Remus Lupin looked past Ada to the control room behind her and asked, "So, the Dementors are here to search for Black?"

"Yes, Professor Lupin," said Ada. "A temporary inspection."

Lupin lowered his head and began to rummage through his pockets. He first pulled out a ball of wrapping paper, and then found what he was looking for. Lupin said, "It just so happens that there is one last piece of chocolate left. It will help you."
