Chapter 163 The One Harry Can't Get

Ada left without caring, but the twins who were left in the classroom were in a miserable state. The failed products in the crucible gave off a pungent smell that made the twins' brains ache.

Fred and George were cleaning up the mess left by Ada and thinking about how to sneak out of the classroom when Snape came over with a dark face.

"As far as I know, Miss Drizzt is the best friend of the two Mr. Weasleys, right?" Snape asked. He looked at the two of them with disdain, the same way the twins looked at the potion in the cauldron.

"Yes, Professor, we are best friends with Ada," one of the twins replied.

"But it doesn't look like that to me! Your so-called good friend isn't feeling well, so wouldn't you two take time off for her? Are those things on your necks just to make you look less weird?"

Snape's harsh words made the twins feel wronged. They wanted to ask for leave for Ada, but Ada was so opinionated that she refused to listen.

"Drizzt has left the classroom now, and you two don't even bother to go and look after him. Is this how you act as friends?" Snape lowered his voice so low that only three people could hear it.

The twins thought they had heard wrongly, but Snape had been looking at Ada's schoolbag, as if telling them with his eyes: Why don't you take your and Ada's schoolbags and get out of here? Do you need me to give you two a ride?

At this moment, the twins finally believed that the bag of gold Galleons was given by Snape. Although he always made things difficult for Ada, he did take care of her. He was really a contradictory person.

Fred and George didn't delay any longer. They picked up their and Ada's backpacks and rushed out of the classroom. Snape said behind them, "Because you left the classroom without permission, Gryffindor will deduct three points. Also, tell Drizzt that her detention will start at 7 o'clock tomorrow night."

First it was Ada, then the twins. Three Gryffindors left the classroom one after another, but Snape only deducted three points. Can you believe it? Did they really hear it wrong? Was it really only three points, not thirty points?
After the points were deducted, Snape finally felt relieved. He looked at the other students in the classroom and said, "Don't you have anything to do? After class, I will feed the potions you made to your pets and see what they will become."

On the other side, Ada, who left the classroom, did not return to the common room or go to the Twilight Cabin. Instead, she went to the fifth floor and through the secret passage to a huge room deep underground. She needed to vent.

The current trial puppet has the strength of Professor McGonagall or Snape. Ada is not its opponent for the time being. The actual combat exercises between Ada and it are mainly based on defense, supplemented by counterattack.

But today Ada didn't want to defend herself, so she started to fight against the trial puppet. The blazing flames illuminated the underground room, making people feel that it was not underground, but a bright and spacious classroom.

Ada's attack was very reckless. Her mind was full of flying brooms, and she was not suitable for thinking. It was precisely because of this brainless fighting style that Ada once took the advantage and even suppressed the trial puppet, almost knocking down the opponent and winning.

After all, there was still a gap in strength. The trial puppet was not a real human, so it would not be frightened by Ada's violent attacks. After enduring the initial frenzy, the trial puppet regained the initiative and quickly defeated the defenseless Ada.

Ada lay on the cold ground, breathing heavily. After venting her anger, she calmed down a lot. Professor McGonagall had been good enough to her. It was her greed that caused her troubles today. It was also because she was not strong enough. If she could be on par with or even surpass Dumbledore, no one would be able to shake her position no matter where she was in the future.

She was not suitable for strenuous exercise today, so Ada did not continue practicing. The burning flame was extinguished, and the giant room returned to darkness. The only sound in the room was Ada's own breathing.

Ada conjured up a thin blanket and wrapped herself in it, then stayed quietly in the basement room, curled up in the same way a baby does in the womb, which is said to give people a sense of security.

Thinking back on her behavior today, Ada couldn't help laughing. She was like a childish kid, getting upset over a trivial matter.

I don't know what Fred and George are doing. They should think she's funny today, right? She's still using words to tease them and old Errol. Only twins can know that she's not laughing at their poverty! I don't know how Professor McGonagall is doing. I hope she won't be too sad when she sees the few points left for Gryffindor. I didn't want to do that either. I was just emotional. It's too uncomfortable to keep the words in my chest if I don't say them.

I wonder how Angelina and Alia are doing. Are they not scared by themselves today? Probably not. They are both girls who can play Quidditch, not soft girls. They won't be scared.

I wonder if I've ever thought of her when I've thought of so many people? Curling up and leaning against the wall, in the darkness, Ada fell asleep without realizing it.

In the pitch-dark underground classroom, the only sound was Ada's even breathing. The trial doll that had been forgotten to be put away was not far away from her, standing motionless and guarding her like a guard.

After an unknown amount of time, Ada woke up from hunger. She put away the trial doll and left the underground room. After walking up the long slope, Ada stood on the small platform at the entrance of the secret passage again. People inside the secret passage could see outside through the mirror at the entrance. Every time Ada left the secret passage, she would check if there was anyone outside. Today was the same. She raised her head and looked outside.

Few people would stay in front of this mirror, but today was an exception. The twins sat opposite the mirror and must have sat there for a long time, because Fred had fallen asleep leaning on George, and George's head was nodding.

It's hard for me to turn evil with you guys like this, because turning evil can make people stronger. You are stopping me from becoming stronger!

Seeing the twins waiting for her here, Ada was still very happy, but she didn't want to admit her happiness, so she had that unreliable idea just now.

Ada walked out of the secret passage. The sound of her footsteps on the corridor woke up George who was dozing off. When George moved, Fred naturally woke up as well.

"Why are you two here?" Ada asked even though she knew the answer. She thought it was better to ask so that she wouldn't misunderstand.

"In the whole school, there are only three of us who know about this secret passage. What do you think we are doing here? I said I was waiting for my old darling Filch. Do you believe me?" Fred yawned and said unhappily.

"We checked the Marauder's Map. Your name is not on the girls' dormitory, but down here. So we'll be waiting for you at the door." George explained to Ada instead of doing the same as Fred.

"Then why don't you go down?" Ada asked again.

"We thought you might want to be alone, so we didn't go down." Fred stood up and patted Ada's shoulder. "You didn't listen to us anyway. It's pitch black down there. Why would you go down there?"

When she was in the underground room, Ada didn't miss Jingjing. She didn't even know Jingjing, so why would she miss Jingjing? Ada just took a nap downstairs, but she felt uncomfortable all over. She might as well go to the Twilight Cabin to sleep for a while! Of course, she didn't dare to tell the twins, otherwise the twins would definitely want to strangle her.

Seeing that Ada remained silent for a long time, George comforted her, "Don't think about the flying broom, and don't worry about how good Professor McGonagall is to Harry. It's enough for you to be yourself. What's more, you have the two of us."

"That's right, we two are the men Harry will never get in his life!" Fred followed.

Ada smiled happily. This was the first time she smiled happily after she knew that Harry Potter's flying broom was given by Professor McGonagall. She hugged the twins and said happily, "I'm hungry, so let's go eat now!"

"Ada, you may be happy too early." The twins who were hugged said at the same time, "It's already past dinner time."
