The Hogwarts Emerald

Chapter 146 Weasley and Potter's First Encounter

Chapter 146 Weasley and Potter's First Encounter
On the morning of September 1st, Mrs. Weasley showed up at King's Cross Station with a group of children. Yes, Mr. Weasley was still not there. The unlucky Mr. Weasley had to work overtime on the weekend again, just like last year.

As the head of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department at the Ministry of Magic, Mr. Weasley has two or three men under him, but none of them are useful, so the head has to work overtime frequently to deal with the trivial work.

Ada felt that Mr. Weasley's rapid baldness was somewhat related to his constant overtime work.

Mr. Weasley, who is also a supervisor, does everything himself, which is in stark contrast to other Ministry of Magic officials who are just sitting there doing nothing. But even though Mr. Weasley works so hard, he still has no chance of promotion. He still earns money to buy cabbages but has the heart of a "flour seller".

There are always a lot of people in a place like a train station at any time, and the platform is even more crowded. Mrs. Weasley held Ginny's hand tightly and had to take care of the twins who were running around from time to time. Her temper gradually became hotter.

"Fred, George, if you two run around again, I'll let your father take you home, and don't even think about saying Quidditch again!" An furious Mrs. Weasley yelled at her naughty twin sons.

"Is Mom in menopause?" George muttered quietly, "She's been getting more and more irritable lately."

"Ada, you are also a woman, what do you think?" Fred asked. On the road to death (challenging Ada's bottom line), Fred always walks ahead of George.

Ada turned around and rolled her eyes at them both, not wanting to argue with them. Ada didn't know whether Mrs. Weasley was in menopause or not, but if the twins dared to discuss menopause with her again, she would let Fred and George know that puberty was not to be trifled with either.

As for the reason why Mrs. Weasley had a bad temper recently, Ada had a guess in her mind, but she didn't know if it was right. She thought it was probably because there was one less person in the team going to school, which made Mrs. Weasley miss Charlie who was far away in Romania even more.

A group of weird people (in the eyes of Muggles) dressed strangely and pushing owls on carts came to the front of Platform Nine and Three Quarters. As long as they passed through this wall, the Hogwarts Express would be on the opposite side.

"Esmeralda, Esmeralda!" Someone on the platform was calling Ada's name, but the way it was called sounded a little weird.

Usually people who are familiar with Ada call her Ada, such as the twins and Angelina. People who are a little distant from Ada will directly call her by her last name, calling her Drizzt, and the polite ones will add Miss. But few people call her Esmeralda, so many people in the school think her name is Ada Drizzt.

Ada turned around and looked at the source of the voice. She saw a skinny boy wearing oversized clothes waving at her. This boy was Harry Potter, the boy who survived.

After whispering something to the twins, Ada left the group and walked towards Harry Potter. She asked, "Didn't Hagrid tell you where the platform is?"

"It's great to see you here!" Harry Potter said excitedly, "Hagrid gave me a ticket, but I couldn't find where the platform was, so I asked the guard..."

"Do they look at you differently than they look at normal people?" Ida felt that the guards must have thought Harry was a fool. She continued, "Come with me. I'll introduce you to a few people."

Ada walked back to the team with Harry, whom she had just picked up. The twins looked at Harry curiously. They didn't know when Ada knew such a boy.

"Mrs. Weasley, this is Harry, Harry Potter." Ada introduced Harry to everyone, and everyone had a different expression.

Mrs. Weasley was a little excited, but it was obvious that she was trying to control her excitement; Percy was also excited, but not as excited as when he got the prefect badge; the twins were not very curious about Harry Potter, they were more curious about how Ada knew him.

The most interesting one was Ginny, who usually called Harry "good" and "bad" Harry, but when she really saw Harry, she hid behind her mother and her face was even redder than Ron's before.

This hopeless look is probably not much different from those Muggle girls who meet their idols without makeup.

"This lady is Mrs. Weasley, the one who doesn't smile much is Percy, and the ones who look exactly the same are Fred and George. You don't have to tell them apart. Sometimes I can't tell them apart either."

Ada introduced the Weasley family members to Harry one by one, and pointed at Ron and said, "Ron, he is the same as you, and he is also enrolled this year. The one hiding behind Mrs. Weasley is Ginny, she is the youngest, and she is also your little fan girl."

"Little what?" Harry didn't understand what Ada said.

The Harry in front of her looked very pitiful. Mrs. Weasley didn't want her children to look at him like animals in a zoo, so she chose to downplay the situation and treat Harry as an ordinary child.

Mrs. Weasley asked, "Looking for the platform? Exactly the same as Ada two years ago."

The twins also recalled an incident two years ago, when they picked up Ada who was "lost" at the station. However, they did not expect that the person they picked up would be so important to their lives. "Percy, you go first." Mrs. Weasley said to Percy who was already ready. Percy pushed his cart towards the partition wall and disappeared the moment he touched the partition wall.

"Fred...George...Fred, keep up." Mrs. Weasley was not sure which twin she was referring to. She had been fooled by the twin brothers' trick of swapping identities more than once.

"Ma'am, you are right this time. I am Fred." Fred said and walked forward, followed by George. The two people's carts were loaded with a lot of things, including their own things and Ada's things. They have been like this since last year.

Ada walked up to Harry with empty hands and said, "See you at school, Harry Potter."

Harry watched the Weasley children and Ada disappear from his sight. He once again felt the magic of magic and became more longing for Hogwarts that Hagrid and Ada had talked about.

"Don't worry," Mrs. Weasley soothed Harry, "just keep going straight towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Don't stop, don't be scared, just keep going straight in, that's very important. If you get nervous, just jog. Come on, you go first, and Ron will follow you."

Ada saw the crimson steam locomotive again after passing through the partition wall, as well as the buzzing of people talking and the noise of dragging luggage. Fred and George were waiting for her, and Fred asked, "When did you meet Harry Potter?"

"It was strange that you brought back Harry's autograph last time," George added as he unloaded the luggage from the cart.

"In May, when we were at the orphanage, it was not far from where Harry lived, and we met by chance." Ada pulled out her wand. "It can't be said that we knew each other, we just knew each other's names."

"Really? I don't believe it!" The twins shook their heads together. They didn't think it would be that simple.

Ada waved her magic wand and carried the luggage of the three people onto the train, not caring about the complicated looks from the people around her. Why use physical strength to do something that can be done with magic? Isn't it tiring? Since you have learned magic, you should use magic to change your life!
A boy with scary dreadlocks came over and opened the box he was holding to Ada, revealing a long furry leg. He asked, "How is Ada? Is she cute?"

"Lee Jordan, do you want to be as cute as it?" Ida asked back, "No girl would like this thing, including me."

Unlike Ada's reaction, the twins were very interested in Lee Jordan's bag spider. They had just returned from helping Harry Potter move his luggage.

The twins and Lee Jordan gathered together and muttered something like, "Girls are weird, they don't like such a cute thing." Ada wanted to curse them all.

Ada is not afraid of spiders, she just doesn't like spiders, especially the way they crawl.

Lee Jordan, holding the box, went to find Angelina and Alia, hoping that he would not be beaten by Angelina. Ada and the twins returned to Mrs. Weasley to say goodbye to her.

The twins were talking about Percy's prefect again. Percy had been saying that he was a prefect all summer, and the twins had been mocking him all summer, especially after Percy got new robes, they were "still brooding" about it.

Mrs. Weasley gave the children instructions one by one, especially the twins, but she accidentally gave the twins a new idea, and Filch was afraid that he would suffer. I hope Merlin can bless the toilets at Hogwarts so that they can escape the twins' evil hands!

The train whistle blew and all the children boarded the train, leaving only the parents who were seeing them off on the platform.

The train started slowly. Ada joked with Ron, who hadn't found a seat. She said, "Ron, do you want to go to our carriage? I'll introduce you to a beautiful sister."

"There's also a bag spider. You're sure to like it!" said Fred. "Would you like to see it?"

When Ron heard about the spider, he shook his head like a rattle. He didn't want to see a spider, not even one the size of a fingernail. He thought it would be better to try his luck in another carriage.

"Fred, George and I are in the middle carriage. If you need anything, just meet us there," said Ada. "Have a nice trip, little Ronnie!"
