Chapter 138 Charlie on the Journey

Since it was summer vacation, Ada took a break and didn't rush to the Leaky Cauldron. Although Old Tom had written to her asking when she would come to work at the bar, Ada still wanted to play for a few more days and relax.

Ada had not touched the money Snape gave her last year, and her expenses for the second year all came from those two months of working. Now, with the money added in this time, the money in Ada's pocket was almost as much as Mr. Weasley's three or four months' salary.

Every morning, after eating Mrs. Weasley's breakfast, Ada would take Garlon out for a walk. When she came back, the twins would also be up, and the three of them would go fishing in the creek outside the village, or go to the mountains to play Apple Quidditch.

After a while, Mr. Weasley took Charlie out of the Burrow, and Mrs. Weasley watched them walk away from the door. Only when the two figures disappeared did Mrs. Weasley return to the kitchen from the door.

Mrs. Weasley had no objection to Charlie going to Romania, and she supported him to go out and try his luck, but she was definitely reluctant. Ada thought she should find something to distract Mrs. Weasley and relieve her depressed mood.

Old Tom, who had come to his senses, also saw Ada, whose prank had been successful. She was wearing a sky blue wizard robe embroidered with patterns, her long golden hair was tied behind her head with a ribbon, and there was cunning in her bright eyes.

"That's not nice. You're scaring an old man like me." Old Tom coughed to ease his embarrassment. "If the cup breaks, I'll deduct your salary."

Ada walked into the bar, also holding a cup and started wiping. She said, "Come on, that cup is more important to you than your life. I don't believe you will break it. Even if you break yourself, you won't break the cup."

Old Tom smiled his toothless smile and said, "Welcome back to the Leaky Cauldron, Ada."
