Chapter 702 Christmas Travel
"Merry Christmas!" On Christmas morning, the first thing Ryan did after waking up was to turn around and greet Hermione, then grab the wand on the bedside and wave it at the curtains. The curtains quickly opened to both sides, and a ray of warm and non-glaring sunlight illuminated the entire bedroom.

"Merry Christmas to you too!" Hermione woke up at this time. She smiled and turned her head to kiss Ryan's cheek. "Hurry up and get up. We need to pack up and go to the contact point to see what Christmas gifts our friends have given us."

After quickly getting up and washing, Ryan and his team put on a set of thick clothes and teleported to the contact point more than ten kilometers away. On the platform in the middle of a cave that was built at the same time as the manor, Ryan and his team saw a large pile of gifts piled here in a somewhat messy manner.

"It feels like these gifts are far more than in previous years." Hermione commented after briefly assessing the size of the pile of gifts. "It looks like we've made many more new friends this year than in the past."

The process of opening gifts is very pleasant, because it allows Ryan and his friends to feel the friendship contained in the gifts. Most of the gifts come from new friends they have made after the war, such as the guerrillas who followed them to fight everywhere, the hostages they rescued from the dark dungeon, and even the wizards who saved their lives or recovered their health from the battlefield because of the supplies Ryan provided.

"The gift the headmaster sent this time is really precious." Ryan took out an ancient parchment book from Professor Dumbledore's gift package. After opening it and taking the first glance, he immediately realized that the content recorded in this book might be unusual.

Because on the title page of the book, Ryan saw Nicolas Flamel's name. After turning a few pages back, Ryan could tell from the crooked handwriting that Nicolas Flamel's body had reached a very weak level when he wrote the contents of this book. After further inspection, Ryan was surprised to find that the history of this book could not exceed ten years.

"What are you looking at?" Seeing Ryan standing there blankly with a notebook that seemed to be available anywhere, Hermione approached and asked curiously. Unfortunately, Ryan was half a head taller than her now, so she couldn't look over Ryan's shoulder like the younger students did. She could only go around to his side to look at what he was holding. "Is it a gift from Professor Dumbledore? But I don't see anything strange about this notebook."

"This is just a very ordinary notebook." Ryan said as he turned the book back to the title page. "This is the alchemy notebook left by Nicolas Flamel. And judging from the year of this notebook and the part of the content I just read, this is probably the last notebook of this alchemist master before his death."

"This is simply too precious." Hermione said in disbelief. "Why would Headmaster Dumbledore give this to you? It's impossible that he gave it to you because you are an alchemist. I dare say that the wizards in Europe who want this notebook may fill up the Gryffindor common room."

"You're talking about people who can understand this notebook. If we add in those who can't understand it, maybe the line can go around Hogwarts Castle." Ryan shrugged. "Of course, I know why Professor Dumbledore gave this to me. I guess he thinks I'm more reliable, and he thinks this thing can improve my level and be more beneficial to the current war with the mysterious man."

Dumbledore's idea is easy to understand. A wizard at Ryan's level will have his own path in the pursuit of power. It is basically impossible to change. So Dumbledore can safely hand this thing to Ryan, hoping that Ryan can play a more powerful role in the subsequent war.

"It seems that even though you disagree with him, Headmaster Dumbledore still thinks that you and he are still firmly on the same side." Hermione also figured out the relationship. "That's right, the areas where you conflict are just unimportant. Professor Dumbledore, who has been a leader for so long, is not the kind of person who is too old-fashioned. As long as the general direction is correct, he should be able to tolerate your differences."

"You're right. At least the Headmaster Dumbledore we know is a good man in every sense of the word." Ryan nodded. "He is willing to unite all forces willing to unite under the premise of a common direction."

Of course, privately, Ryan believed that this was because Dumbledore realized after fighting Voldemort that even if he used the Elder Wand at his full strength, he could only guarantee a draw with Voldemort, so in order to kill Voldemort, he had to unite with him.

After counting the gifts, Ryan and his friends returned to the manor with the gifts. After putting all the gifts away, Ryan invited Hermione. "Let's go to another world to relax. The battle a while ago was really tiring."

"Now that you mention it, I feel uncomfortable all over my body. I want to relax. I could only sleep four hours a day for a month. If our bodies were not much stronger than ordinary people, we would have collapsed long ago." Hermione nodded, "Oh, by the way, can we find a world we have never been to this time?" "Of course." Ryan nodded with a smile and took Hermione to the underground laboratory. Because other people are living in the manor now, they chose the underground base under the manor to avoid the eyes of the guests, so as to prevent the secret from being known by others.

"Since we are here to relax, the world level can't be too high, because if it is too high, we will be busy fighting. But the world level can't be too low, otherwise it won't be very interesting." Ryan said to Hermione after arriving at the underground base. "So I think the sixth-level world is more suitable, what do you think?"

"Is it the same world as the group of vampires we met last time?" Hermione thought for a moment and nodded. "I think that kind of world is really good, but I don't know if this will be a world we are familiar with."

"It depends on your luck." Ryan said, opened the door to the Wanjie Grocery Store, and pulled Hermione in. Rose Crystal was sitting on top of a cabinet in the grocery store, holding a smartphone from the Twilight world in both hands, watching Tom and Jerry, and giggling from time to time. After hearing the footsteps of Ryan and Hermione entering the grocery store, she turned her head and asked, "Brother, what are you doing here?"

"We plan to find a new world to relax. Do you want to come with us?" Ryan invited the little doll.

"Of course, of course I do." Rose Crystal put away the smartphone in her hand as quickly as possible, and then nodded her head quickly. "Finally, I can go to a new world again. It's really great."

After that, Rose Crystal took out a small backpack modified from a space bag from the corner of the grocery store and put it on her back. Then she flew directly to Ryan's left side, raised her arm and held his empty hand.

"Then let's go." After injecting 32 offset points, the door of the grocery store turned into a vortex of blue and white light. After making sure everything was ready, Ryan pulled a person through the space door.

"Ha, we're finally not in the forest this time." After looking around, Rose Crystal smiled. "At least this hole looks like it was dug by an intelligent creature."

"Yes, judging from the size of the machine and its design habits, it is very likely that it belongs to a human." Ryan glanced around and made a positive inference. As a person who has inherited the mechanical design heritage, he can roughly infer the situation of the machine's user just by looking at many machines.

"Hey, this looks a bit like machinery from the late 19th century." Hermione looked curiously at the steam engine full of rivets below where they were standing and said, "I've visited an old factory in Manchester with my parents before, and the machines there are very similar to this."

"Nineteenth century," Ryan realized after being reminded by Hermione. Everything here really looked like a mine during the first industrial revolution. But Ryan didn't think he had just come to an ordinary era of steam industry development. After all, this was a level six world, which meant that this world was hiding a technological power beyond this era.

Fortunately, it was only a level six world, so it shouldn't be the most terrifying world in this context, such as Deke always giving out candies or Amon's concentration being too high. Ryan felt that he could take it one step at a time and see what the situation was.
