Chapter 611 Wedding
"Ladies and gentlemen," Dumbledore's voice rang out on the stage after the newlyweds were in place. He was now standing on the high platform in front of the three newlyweds. "Today we gather here to celebrate the union of three pairs of loyal souls..."

"Yes, my tiara makes Fleur look even prettier, but she's a pity she's French," an old lady said in a distant whisper. "And I must say that Ginny's skirt is too low-cut."

"Who is this?" Ryan asked quietly, and Percy immediately leaned over and said, "This is our great aunt Muriel. The tiara on Fleur's head was borrowed from her. It was a fairy's jewelry. But to be honest, sometimes our great aunt is too nosy, but think about it, she is 107 years old this year and we can't say anything."

Ryan shrugged and continued to listen to Dumbledore's speech, only to hear him say, "Today is such a happy day, I believe everyone doesn't want to listen to an old man like me nagging. Now let's get straight to the point."

Then he looked at Lupin and said, "Remus John Lupin, will you marry Nymphadora...?"

Ryan heard a soft sob coming from the back row, which should be the sound of the werewolf representatives. Then a trumpet-like sound came from the back of the big tent, covering the sob, and everyone knew that Hagrid took out his handkerchief as big as a tablecloth. Hermione held Ryan's hand tightly and turned to look at him. Ryan saw that her eyes became crystal clear at this time.

"...I declare you to be lifelong partners." Five or six minutes later, Professor Dumbledore finally finished all the witnesses for the three teams of newlyweds. He then drew out his wand and waved it high above the heads of the three couples.

A shower of silver stars burst from the wand and fell on them, swirling around their now clasped bodies. Fred and George led the applause, and overhead the golden balloons burst: birds of paradise and little golden bells flew out, floating in the air, adding the sound of birds and bells to the noise.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" Dumbledore said in a higher voice. "Please stand!"

They all stood up, and Dumbledore waved his wand again, and all the seats rose gracefully into the air, the canvas of the great tent disappeared, and they stood under a canopy supported by golden pillars, with a beautiful view of the sunny orchard and the surrounding countryside.

Then a ball of golden light slowly emerged from the ground in the center of the tent, and then formed a golden dance floor. The chairs floating in the air automatically gathered around the small table covered with a white tablecloth, and floated back to the ground around the dance floor lightly and gracefully. The band wearing golden tops walked towards the stage in unison.

"It's really exquisite." Ryan exclaimed. Even though he had traveled through so many worlds before, he swore that he had never seen magic from any world being applied so well in life.

At this time, waiters appeared from all directions, some carrying silver trays with pumpkin juice, butterbeer and fire whiskey on them; some carrying a pile of shaky pies and sandwiches.

Ryan and Hermione each took a glass of butter beer from a tray passing by, and then sat down at a table in the corner. Soon three couples walked onto the dance floor, winning warm cheers from everyone. After a while, Mr. Weasley led Mrs. Delacour to the dance floor, followed by Mrs. Weasley and Fleur's father.

"I like this song." Luna suddenly appeared from nowhere, swaying gently to the rhythm of a waltz-like music. After a few seconds, she stood up and slid lightly to the dance floor, where she spun alone in place, closing her eyes and swinging her arms.

Watching Luna dancing alone, waving her arms around her head as if trying to shoo away mosquitoes, Ryan suddenly wanted to dance for a while, so he pulled Hermione onto the dance floor.

After dancing two songs, Ryan saw Dumbledore sitting at a table in the distance and waving at him, so he apologized to Hermione and walked over, and Hermione went down the dance floor with him and returned to the table. "Good afternoon, Professor Dumbledore." Ryan said to Professor Dumbledore who was sitting there. Dumbledore was sitting there with a small half glass of golden honey wine, looking at the people dancing on the dance floor with a smile on his face.

"Good afternoon, Ryan." Dumbledore responded, and then looked at the happy crowd on the dance floor and said, "This is everything we have to defend. Every time I see them, I feel that all my efforts are worth it."

"That's true." Ryan nodded. "So sometimes we have to do some terrible things, and there are some prices we have to pay to protect all this beauty."

After hearing Ryan speak so bluntly, Dumbledore was stunned for a moment, then he put down his glass and turned to look at him. "Kid, you don't have to take all the responsibility on yourself. You can try to trust others for many things."

"I know, Professor Dumbledore, I will try my best to trust others." Ryan nodded. Dumbledore saw that Ryan was not sincere, but he did not say much.

Ever since Ryan confronted Voldemort a few days ago, Dumbledore completely regarded Ryan as a person who was capable of communicating with him on an equal footing, so on this issue which was not a matter of principle, he did not educate him as Ryan imagined.

"Okay, let's talk about other things." After a brief exchange between the two sides, Dumbledore simply changed the topic to what he really wanted to talk about today. "I have received your letter. Thanks to the help of Ms. Burns, Deputy Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, the procedures for Lucius Malfoy's release on bail have been completed. I can go to Azkaban with you tomorrow to pick him up."

"Thank you!" Ryan thanked sincerely. Even his strength would not be of much use when dealing with this kind of things. The network of relationships in the magic world cannot be built in a day or two, and what Ryan lacked was time.

"Nothing, this kind of thing is just a piece of cake for an old man like me." Dumbledore raised his glass and took a sip, then said, "But do you really think that Lucius Malfoy will really turn to us after he is released?"

"Of course he will." Ryan nodded. "To be precise, he has no choice but to turn to us. The You-Know-Who is not a kind leader. I don't believe that after the big incident at the end of last semester, he will give the Malfoy family another chance."

"That's right. According to the intelligence I received, the Malfoy family is now on the same level as Igor Karkaroff in Voldemort's eyes. Given Tom's personality since childhood, he would never admit that the failure of the attack in the castle at the end of last semester was due to his own fault. Therefore, the Malfoy family, who were responsible for the specific execution, will naturally bear all the consequences of the failure. The excuse that the Malfoy family are traitors can indeed perfectly cover up Voldemort's mistake last semester in this case."

At this point Dumbledore changed the subject. "As the people who disrupted an important plot of Voldemort last semester, you and Hermione are now Voldemort's priority targets. Are you really not considering staying at the Burrow for the rest of the summer vacation?"

"Thank you, but I don't think it's necessary." Ryan said easily, "As an alchemy master, I am confident in the defense of my home. You don't need to worry about it."

"Okay." Dumbledore did not continue to persuade him. He also knew that it was not so easy to break into the home of an alchemist. The fact that Ryan dared to say this proved that he was indeed fully prepared. "Then I will pick you up at ten o'clock tomorrow morning, and then we will send Lucius from Azkaban to Sirius' ancestral home."
