Chapter 435 Giants, Centaurs and Finals
Towards the end of May, Harry seemed to be in better spirits, perhaps because his brain was no longer being tortured. However, because every fifth-year student was so busy recently, he naturally did not have much time to practice the Occlumency class.

As a result, due to the busy study, Harry often went to bed with his head filled with what he had learned and couldn't fall asleep at all; and when he fell asleep, on most nights, his over-stressed brain showed up all kinds of silly dreams about exams.

Other than that, he still sometimes dreamed about the dark corridor and the crystal balls on the dusty shelves, but his only consolation was that part of his brain felt guilty as it wandered down the corridor to the black door at the end, and would try to wake him before he reached the end of his journey.

Naturally, Harry didn't dare tell anyone about these things, otherwise either Ginny or Hermione would force him to go to Snape again to be tortured.

In this chaos, the Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw match was about to begin, which was also the final of the Quidditch season. Although Hufflepuff narrowly defeated Slytherin in the previous game, Gryffindor did not dare to expect to win the game, which was mainly caused by Ron's terrible goalkeeping record, but he himself seemed very optimistic.

"That's good." Ryan said to Hermione. "At least Ron's interception success rate is not low when he is in a good mood."

The night before the game, Ryan secretly went to the centaur settlement alone, because after Firenze told Ryan that Hagrid's brother was hiding in the forbidden forest, Ryan had been thinking about helping the centaur. Naturally, chopping off Hagrid's brother was the first plan to be ruled out. Because as a short giant, Hagrid's brother would definitely not be able to eat human flesh, and according to Ryan's bottom line, he should not die.

So after thinking for a long time, Ryan finally thought of a solution from the perspective of alchemy. And today he went to the Forbidden Forest to deliver the alchemical products he made to the centaurs.

When they arrived outside the centaur village, they saw Wolf chasing his tail. Ryan went up to greet him, "Wolf, good evening. Where's Aunt Betty?"

"Aunt Betty is waiting for you at her house. Just go over there." Wolfe squatted there and said, "By the way, I'm almost done with the pile of books you gave me. Do you have any other books?"

"Of course, what kind do you want to read?" Ryan asked, "Last time you asked me for encyclopedias and history books, what do you want to read this time?"

"Well, are there any books about the outside world?" Wolfe looked up at Ryan and asked, "I want to know what the world outside the Forbidden Forest is like."

"I think I do have some books on this subject. I'll take them out after we get to your house, otherwise we'll have to carry them." After hearing what Wolfe said, Ryan felt a little sad. It just so happened that he had put a lot of books in the Wanjie Grocery Store as trading items, and among them was a complete set of travel manuals, which he could give to Wolfe.

Arriving at Wolfe's house, Ryan found that this house was no different from other centaurs' houses. It was a four-meter-high peaked hut with a tall and wide door. After opening the door, Wolfe lifted the cloth covering the lantern grass at home. The light suddenly brightened the house.

Wolfe's home is very simple. In addition to a small low table, a few bookshelves with books and other things, there is only a small nest made of soft plant fibers. According to him, since he can't cook, he usually goes to Aunt Betty's house for meals, so there is no need to prepare cooking utensils and tableware at home.

Ryan took out the books that had been put in the Wanjie Grocery Store and placed them next to the low table for Wolfe. Then he said goodbye to Wolfe, who couldn't wait to start reading.

"Some guys are not as studious as a wolf." Ryan sighed as he thought about Crabbe and Goyle who had been causing troubles in the name of the investigation team recently.

When he arrived at Aunt Betty's house, he found Aunt Betty was already standing at the door waiting for him.

"I'm sorry, I just sent some books to Wolfe. I kept you waiting." Ryan apologized quickly. "Wolf has become more calm recently. This should be the benefit of reading. Thank you for giving him so many books." Betty said with a smile, "Besides, the wind can tell me all the information around here. I just came out and didn't wait for you here all the time. You don't have to apologize for this."

After a few pleasantries, Ryan took out 12 bracelets from his arms, each with several bells hanging on it. These bracelets were forged from dark steel, but if you get closer, you can see beautiful patterns on them. In addition, Betty saw that the bracelets were inlaid with densely packed silver runes the size of green beans. However, under the moonlight, these runes seemed to reflect a touch of blood.

After taking the bracelets, Betty reached out and touched them. She used natural magic to sense them for a while, then lowered her head and asked, "Did you kill those giants a few months ago? I can sense their wailing from these bracelets."

"Yes." Ryan nodded, "They ate people, and I killed them. These bracelets are made by melting the axes and spears that killed the giants. Just gently shake the bells on them, and the giant in the Forbidden Forest will naturally be frightened. You don't have to worry about the giant destroying the Forbidden Forest."

"Thank you very much, it's really troublesome for you." Betty said with a smile. As a natural magic caster, she is different from those vegetarians or extreme environmentalists. In her eyes, those giants eat people, so they must be prepared to be killed by people. Whether they eat people or they are killed by people, it is a cycle of nature. Therefore, she has no bad feelings towards Ryan killing those giants.

"Then I'll go back. I hope the Forbidden Forest can return to its former silence." After saying goodbye to Aunt Betty, Ryan returned to Hogwarts Castle.

The next morning was the final. Because the Slytherins in the investigation team were too reckless, everyone launched multiple attacks when they could no longer tolerate it. Several Slytherin Quidditch team members who were members of the investigation team were hospitalized in the conflict. Under such circumstances, Hufflepuff successfully defeated Slytherin in a previous game. This also made it possible for Gryffindor to win.

After breakfast, Ryan took Hermione to the stadium. Unfortunately, they arrived a little late, and it took them a long time to find a seat at the top of the stands.

Today was a clear and cloudless day, perfect weather for a Quidditch match. A few minutes after the match started, Ryan noticed that Hagrid and Harry had disappeared from the stands. It wasn't that he was paying attention to these two people, but Hagrid's size made it hard to ignore him.

"What has Harry been doing?" Hermione also noticed this.

"I guess Hagrid wants to introduce Harry to his brother." Ryan answered casually while looking at the field. "I gave the centaurs an idea. I think Hagrid's brother won't cause them any trouble now."

"That's great - oh, that's bad," exclaimed Hermione, as Ron missed one of Davis' balls.

Fortunately, Ron managed to save the other balls in the following matches, and finally Ginny caught the Snitch in front of Zhang Qiu with an advantage of half a hand's length.

After the happy crowd carried Ron away, Ryan and Hermione walked down from the top of the stands and returned to the castle. On the way, they just saw Harry coming out of the Forbidden Forest.

Harry also had a smile on his face. It seemed that what Ryan gave the centaurs had worked. Hagrid's brother should not be so irritable now. In short, today was a perfect day.
