Chapter 411 Props Upgrade (Please subscribe, please collect, please vote)
During the rest of the Christmas holiday, Ryan lived in the same room he had lived in during the previous summer vacation at 12 Grimmauld Square. During this time, he spent a lot of time rushing to make some magic props for the Order of the Phoenix. He also invested a lot of energy in developing the next generation of upgraded magic defense bracelets.

In the last week of the holiday, Ryan finally finished making the upgraded version of the bracelet: the main body is gold, and it is inlaid with magic runes cast with a mixture of mithril brought from the world of "The Lord of the Rings" and imitation orichalcum refined according to the technology used in the Hogwarts Secret Library, in addition to several cut red and blue spinels as magic nodes.

When he took the finished product to the study on the second floor, he heard Ron's voice coming from inside: "Why are you helping Ryan with his homework but not willing to show us the paper? I know you are his girlfriend, but you are being a little too much."

"Because Ryan is busy with work, and he has already mastered this knowledge, but he is too busy working for the Order of the Phoenix to write it down. Although I can't help him with what he is doing, I can help him solve some of his worries in this regard." Hermione paused here. "But your problem is that you don't have mastered this knowledge at all. Don't forget that we still have to take OWLs this year. The same attitude towards study as before won't work."

Hearing this, Ryan quickly pushed the door open and interrupted their argument, then showed them his new product. Just as Ryan was introducing the new product, Sirius suddenly pushed the door open and walked in with a happy face, while shouting: "Good news, we received great news today."

"Ryan, why are you here?" Sirius was stunned when he saw Ryan, because Ryan had been staying in the alchemy laboratory almost all the time except for meal time. So when he suddenly saw Ryan, Sirius was naturally a little surprised.

"My new defensive bracelet is out. It can give the user a chance to draw his wand even if he's attacked by that snake again." After saying that, he took out the gold bracelet and handed it to Sirius.

"Oh, that's great. When can we give one to each of us on field duty? Don't worry, money is not a problem. I can pay for any amount you buy. I can even get you the materials you want." Sirius took the bracelet and took a look at it. As someone from a pure-blood family, he quickly saw the extraordinary nature of the bracelet.

"Now it's not a question of cost and raw materials. The core is that the manufacturing difficulty of this upgraded bracelet has also reached a new level. Even if I devote all my energy to it for a month, I can only make one. The one in your hand is because I had the idea to make a blank before, so I was able to process the blank into a finished product in just one week." Ryan explained to Sirius, who was now full of the aura of a rich man, and finally he restrained his urge to spend money.

"By the way, what's the good news you just mentioned?" Because Ryan didn't want to continue discussing this issue with Sirius, a guy who was equivalent to an illiterate in alchemy, he changed the subject and asked Sirius what he wanted to say when he came in.

"If you hadn't reminded me, I would have forgotten. I was a little excited when I saw your bracelet." Sirius laughed and said, "Today we got accurate news. The giant tribe that we were worried about before has completely disappeared. Three die-hard Death Eaters also disappeared. Voldemort was so angry that he tortured a group of Death Eaters one by one with the Cruciatus Curse during the meeting."

"Really?" "When did this happen?" Ron and Harry immediately rushed over to Sirius and asked him all sorts of questions. Hermione made a face at Ryan when the three of them were not paying attention.

"Disappeared? How did that happen?" Harry's voice came over, full of confusion. "After all, they are giants, dozens of them, and they can't use magic to travel. Plus there are three Death Eaters, how could they all disappear without anyone knowing?"

"But that's the truth." Sirius also showed confusion on his face. "According to the information we received, the Russian Ministry of Magic first discovered a group of Muggles who had been rescued after being kidnapped by the Death Eaters. Then they found the former residence of the giants based on these clues. But they only found six giants who were scared half to death. The only thing they said was that they were all dead."

"All dead?" Harry and Ron exclaimed, and Sirius nodded. "Yes, but the Russian Ministry of Magic members found nothing except some blood that had frozen into ice in the valley. They even found only traces of defensive magic left by the three Death Eaters, and no other traces of magic."

"You mean, if something attacked these giants and Death Eaters, the attackers could achieve their goal in a very short time without any magic, and even the three Death Eaters scattered in different places didn't have enough time to react and issue a warning?" Ron's eyes widened. "Oh my God, this is terrible." "If I'm not wrong, this is it. The Russian Ministry of Magic has now transferred the remaining six giants to other places. At least we don't have to worry about Voldemort luring them over to cause us trouble." Sirius looked relaxed.

"But, don't you think this is very strange?" Hermione couldn't help asking. "I think this kind of thing should not be common even in the wizarding world."

"It's indeed uncommon." Sirius nodded. "But similar things have happened in the wizarding world before. And we need to deal with Voldemort and his Death Eaters right now, so we don't have much energy to focus on something that happens thousands of kilometers away and has little to do with us."

"That sounds like good news." Ryan thought. At least this way not too many people would pay attention to that place, and he wouldn't have to worry about being discovered for what he had done before.

"By the way, there is another good news. St. Mungo's has found an antidote for snake venom, and Arthur will be discharged from the hospital in the next two days." Sirius said finally.

"That's great!" Ryan and the others said together, and then at Ryan and Hermione's request, Sirius agreed to take them to St. Mungo's to visit Mr. Weasley in the afternoon.

The weather was nice in the afternoon. Under the rare winter sunshine, a group of three people appeared in front of an old red brick department store.

"We're here. This is St. Mungo's. There's not enough land in Diagon Alley, and it's unhygienic to build it underground like the Ministry of Magic. We chose this place so that the patients can mingle with the crowd." Sirius said to Ryan and Hermione who were looking at the place curiously.

This department store called Tao Tao Co., Ltd. looked dilapidated and deserted. There were only a few broken mannequins in the window, wearing wigs crookedly, in different postures, and wearing clothes that were at least ten years old. There were big signs "Closed for Renovation" hanging on the dusty doors. Ryan heard people coming and going around muttering: I swear I haven't opened the door since then -

Sirius moved closer to the window and looked up at the ugly mannequin, his breath blurring the glass. "Hello... I'm here to see Arthur Weasley." The mannequin nodded slightly and waved its connected fingers, and the three of them disappeared straight through the glass.

Because it was Christmas holiday, St. Mungo's was still full of festive atmosphere. There were not many patients in the waiting room. Ryan only saw a wizard with a head swollen like a tomato and a witch with purple skin standing in front of a table marked "Information Desk".

"Family dispute, huh? I suggest you learn to hide your wands when you quarrel. I've seen you four times in the past six months. Now you two should go to the Spell Injury Department on the fifth floor. I really don't want to see you again." said the fat middle-aged blonde woman sitting behind the desk.

Is this how all couples in the magic world get along? It does look a little scary, Ryan thought as he went upstairs.
