Chapter 358 Persuasion (Please subscribe, please collect, please vote)
After eating two desserts, Mrs. Weasley finally talked about the main purpose of her visit today.

"Ryan, I know that with your help, their academic performance has improved a lot. But I hope their grades can be higher, so that it will be easier for them to enter the Ministry of Magic in the future. Not only me, but Arthur also thinks so. If we open a store, it will distract their attention too much."

"Well, Mrs. Weasley." Ryan thought for a moment after listening to what Mrs. Weasley said, then nodded and said to her seriously, "I can understand your expectations for the two of them. As a parent, you definitely want your children to have a better life in the future. But if I may be frank, you'd better ask your two sons what they think. Not everyone is suitable to work in the Ministry of Magic."

"But Arthur, and Percy—" Mrs. Weasley was interrupted by the twins before she could finish. "Mom, we are different from Dad and Percy. Working from morning till night in the Ministry of Magic would really suffocate us, and we might get into a lot of trouble. In the end, the salary we earn every month is not as much as the fine."

"That's true, Mrs. Weasley." Ryan looked at Mrs. Weasley and said, "They are both older than me and almost adults. So they should have their own mature ideas. In this case, forcing them to do things they don't like or to engage in a career they don't like is not a good thing."

After Ryan finished speaking, he saw the twins nodding vigorously, with expressions of strong approval on their faces.

Mrs. Weasley might not be very firm about the twins' ideas in this regard, so she let it go and started talking about her other concern. "But they are just making children's toys. It's okay for them to go to school now, but how can they support themselves after they graduate?"

It seems that parents all over the world are the same, especially when it comes to their children working in emerging or special industries, they always feel that a stable job is not better for their children's future.

"You don't need to worry about this, Mrs. Weasley." Ryan analyzed carefully. "Fred and George are very talented in inventing new magic toys and even magic props. They have even mastered the basic alchemy in a very short time. Under such circumstances, the prospects for opening a magic prop store are very bright."

After hearing this, Mrs. Weasley's expression began to ease. Ryan quickly struck while the iron was hot, "For example, there is a shop called Zonko's Joke Shop in Hogsmeade. Because the owner Zonko is old, the things in it have not been updated much in the past ten years. Even so, the gold galleons earned by this shop every day may be equivalent to the monthly salary of an ordinary Ministry of Magic employee. I think with the new things developed by Fred and George and some of my works, it is not very difficult to surpass Zonko's Joke Shop."

"Besides." Ryan spread his hands. "As a Muggle-born wizard, I am willing to invest most of my wealth in the wizarding world in them. As their mother, please give them more trust."

"Have you really thought it through? Have you really decided to open a magic product store as your future life goal?" After listening to Ryan's advice, Mrs. Weasley looked at the twins seriously and asked. "In this regard, it is difficult for your family to help you. So are you ready to face all the difficulties and challenges on your own?"

"Yes, Mom. We have already thought about it." The twins looked at each other and said in unison. When they said this, their faces showed unprecedented seriousness and determination.

"Very good, remember your choice today. As a mother I wish you all the best, and your father, Percy and I will attend the store opening this weekend."

After a cup of tea, Mrs. Weasley and the twins left. Before they Apparated away, Ryan could see that the Weasley twins were smiling happily.

It was the weekend, the day before going to Sirius's ancestral home. After packing their luggage early in the morning, Ryan and Hermione went to Diagon Alley to attend the opening ceremony of Weasley's Joke Shop.

"If it weren't for the disgusting bloodline concept of some wizards, your name should also appear on the store door." Hermione said as she watched the store start to set off fireworks.

"In business, as long as you make money, that's all. Fame is not that important." Ryan replied. "Okay, let's go in and take a look. Although I am the majority shareholder and have helped a lot with the opening, I have never seen all the goods in the store." The store seemed to have been renovated and was much brighter than the gray warehouse it used to be. It could even be said that it was a bit too bright. The walls of the first floor were replaced with large windows. The left window was colorful, with all kinds of rotating, twitching, flashing, jumping and screaming goods on display, while the right window displayed some more serious goods. Ryan saw the brass bracelet he had made before was placed on the top of a pile of goods in the right window.

"Ryan, Hermione, welcome, welcome." Because the store had just opened, a large group of people rushed in. So Ryan and the others squeezed to the back of the store to see the busy twins and the Weasley family.

Before they could finish talking for a few words, they were called over by the clerk. Ryan and the others could only check out the various products in the store by themselves. The first floor was mainly filled with various joke products, such as snacks and candies with spoof effects, as well as wands and feather pens that could be used for tricks. There were even disposable rune stones made by the twins after they learned the basics of alchemy. Each rune stone could make people daydream perfectly for half an hour.

"Really, a genius--" Ryan knew what it was after just one glance. Previously, Ryan and the twins had restored the method of setting up an ancient illusion defense array found in the library. Ryan used this knowledge to create a set of illusion arrays that could be quickly set up as fixed-point defenses. Unexpectedly, the twins simplified the knowledge and used it for this. It can only be said that the two of them are really talented in pranks.

The second floor is where magic props, mainly defense against the dark arts, are sold. Unlike downstairs, this place is mostly occupied by adults and is not as noisy as downstairs.

"Hey. Ryan, Hermione." George greeted them after seeing them come upstairs.

"Thanks to you, the market for these magic props is very good now." George called a clerk to replace him and walked over to Ryan and said, "Although those guys in the Ministry of Magic have been boasting that it is very safe now, at least the escape of the ten Death Eaters has caused many people to start looking for something to protect them, and we can provide these things."

"So have you done real-name registration for some of the more important products?" Ryan asked what he was concerned about.

"That's necessary. We don't want our goods to be used by those Death Eaters against our relatives and friends. Even if it means losing some business." George picked up a few pieces of coal-like things from the shelf. "For example, the invisibility smoke bombs that must be dispelled with matching spells, and your defensive bracelets, which are very useful in actual combat, we require customers to purchase them with their real names. Of course, there's no need to do that for decoy bombs that divert people's attention or clothing that can only protect against some minor curses."

"By the way, I have another opening gift for you." Ryan said, and took out a wooden box from under his wizard robe and handed it to George. George took it and opened the box, and found a pair of headbands that seemed to be made of patterned steel. He looked at Ryan in confusion.

"I made this out of magic metal. On the one hand, as a defensive item, this headband can resist ten Stunning Curses in a week. On the other hand, this headband can allow a person to enter a mechanized mind for half an hour every three days. In this case, the user can make all kinds of judgments without being affected by any emotions. It is very useful in battle and can even save lives."

"This is too valuable. I can't accept it. As far as I know, some so-called pure-blood family heirlooms with a shorter history may not even be of this level." George was a little surprised after listening to Ryan's introduction.

"It's okay. After all, I am the main investor in this store. Under the current circumstances, I think my interests can only be protected if you ensure safety."

In the end, Ryan persuaded the twins to accept the gift by using the reason of protecting his own interests, and then left the store.
