Chapter 25 Halloween Boss: Giant Monster

Just as Harry and his friends were running back along the passage with their faces flushed with excitement, they suddenly heard a bang. Harry turned around and saw that the door that had just been locked was smashed open by a stick.

A piece of debris from the door flew directly towards Harry. Harry felt that he could not avoid it and just closed his eyes waiting to be hit, when he was suddenly pulled to the ground by a strong force, and the debris flew directly over Harry's head.

It turned out that Ryan had also followed and pulled Harry when he saw the danger.

"Sure enough, the giant monster still has a certain level of intelligence. If there is no one in the toilet, it will prioritize attacking the people closest to it, such as the two people who just locked it in the toilet." Ryan looked at the current situation and thought secretly in his heart.

"The toilet door can't stop the troll." Ryan shouted to Harry. "The noise you made when you locked the door just now was so loud that it startled the troll. We must find a way to trap it in the toilet now, otherwise we can't outrun the troll in a place like this." After saying that, Ryan fired a powerful attack spell that he had just learned at the troll.

“Grilled hot and spicy”

Unfortunately, the spell had no effect. The troll just blocked it with his arm and then tried to squeeze through the small door to go out.

At this time, Ron and Harry also reacted, and they also cast spells at the troll.

"Grinning Hula La"

"Tarantella Dance"

The two spells hit the troll, and the troll just paused for a moment. Then, it still angrily hit the door frame with the stick in its hand and tried to rush out. It seems that what was written in the book that the troll has a strong resistance to magic is true.

Hermione also adjusted her mentality. She used the levitation spell to control the faucet in the toilet that had just been smashed down by the troll, causing the faucet to collide with the toilet floor and make a loud noise.

The troll had a low IQ, so he ignored the four living people in front of him and turned his head to check the direction of the noise.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the four people tiptoed back, trying to get out of the giant monster's attack range.

Just when they walked out of the toilet about twenty meters away, a huge roar came from the toilet. It seemed that the giant monster had discovered that he had been deceived, and the little things that had just provoked him ran away.

Ryan shouted, "Run!" and four people ran down the corridor.

The angry troll pushed down the walls on both sides of the toilet door and squeezed out, chasing after the four people. The edges of the destroyed walls were sharp and penetrated the skin on the troll's palms.

The smelly blood flowed from the troll's hands, leaving a red and black trail in the corridor.

"What should we do now?" Ron asked nervously when he noticed that the troll was getting closer and closer.

"Go around here a few times and find a place where the troll can't pass. We can't run to the auditorium because there might be other students there, and we can't bring the monster behind us over there." Ryan replied.

Turning a corner, they saw a tightly closed door. The door was small, an old-fashioned wooden door covered with iron sheets. It was only about one meter wide and two meters high, and it looked like a good place to hide.

After Harry used the unlocking spell, they found that the space inside was not small. It seemed to be a warehouse, filled with a series of sundries such as broken brooms and old iron buckets.

The four men squeezed in, closed the door, and retreated to the depths of the room.

Soon, they heard the troll's heavy footsteps stop outside the door, and then the troll's disgusting sniffling sound came from outside the door.

"Will it find us?" Hermione asked, and Ryan heard the sound of her teeth chattering as she spoke.

"Maybe, but it can't get in through such a small door." Ryan comforted Hermione. As soon as he finished speaking, the door was smashed open with a bang, and the troll tried to squeeze in frantically, but the size of the door only allowed it to stick in a head or an arm.

The troll tried to use the same trick again, but this time the wall didn't move at all. The manic troll could only use his hands to swing the stick to smash the nearby debris into the air, occasionally poking his head in and looking for the four people with bloodshot eyes. But this couldn't hurt the four people hiding behind the shelves.

Ryan looked at the troll that occasionally stuck its head in to peek, then looked at the environment in the utility room, and suddenly had a bold idea.

"Can you break the ring of the iron chandelier above?" Ryan asked.

"The three of us should be fine," Harry replied.

"Well, get ready. I'll count to 123, and you all attack the ring together. Then I'll be able to deal with the giant monster."

"Ready."×3
"1-2-3, move! Wingardium Leviosa."

Harry and his friends' magic broke the rings hanging the chandelier, but the chandelier was hung in the air by Ryan's spell.

Ryan slowly used magic to move the chandelier towards the door, and then ended the magic at the moment the troll poked his head in to check.

The angular iron chandelier came crashing down on the troll's head from a height of five or six meters with the sound of wind, knocking the troll's head directly to the ground with a deafening sound.

A corner of the chandelier hit the back of the troll's head, creating a large hole there, with some red and white liquid flowing out. The troll's neck also formed a strange angle with the base, and it looked like it was broken.

Then the troll's body fell down, blocking the door of the room.

"It's done, it's okay now." Ryan said, and the four of them slid down to the ground against the wall and began to breathe heavily. They found that their legs were weak because of the tension and fear just now.

After sitting quietly in the dark for a few minutes, Hermione asked tremblingly, "Is this monster - dead?"

"Maybe," Ryan said. "I don't think the troll can survive like this."

Suddenly there was a loud bang on the door and loud footsteps, and the four people in the room looked up. They didn't realize how loud the noise was, and it must be that someone downstairs heard the violent collision and the roar of the giant.

A moment later, Professor Flitwick used magic to move the troll away from the door, and Professor McGonagall lit her wand and rushed into the room, followed by Snape and Quirrell at the end.

Quirrell only glanced at the troll, then gave a weak sob and sat down on a box, clutching his chest.

Snape bent over to examine the troll. Professor McGonagall looked at the four men. Ryan had never seen her so angry.

At this time, Professor Snape stood up and showed a surprised expression: "The troll is dead, was it the levitation spell?"

"Yes." Ryan was able to see the brains of the giant monster clearly in the light. He felt sick and replied with a grim expression.

"You have killed a troll, which is a difficult task for an adult wizard. As first-year students, I would like to praise your courage and the casting of spells. However, before that, I need you to go with me to find Headmaster Dumbledore. After all, this incident caused the death of a magical creature and four students almost lost their lives. The headmaster must personally inquire about this matter."

After saying that, Professor McGonagall, with a serious face, supported Hermione, whose legs looked trembling, and led the way in front. Ryan and the other three followed behind, walking towards Headmaster Dumbledore's office.
