Chapter 207 Rescue
"Oh my God, I think we have a big discovery now." Ryan was so excited that he was a little incoherent while holding the dagger. After all, what he was holding in his hand was the relic of the founder of his academy a thousand years ago.

"So what are you going to do with this dagger?" Hermione had calmed down from her excitement at this time, so she asked Ryan an important question.

"This is the trophy we obtained at the risk of our lives, so naturally we kept it for use. Not to mention how tough this dagger is, the runes on it alone are of great inspiration to us." Ryan said as a matter of course.

"Well, you're right. After all, this is our trophy, even though it used to belong to the founder of our academy. But since we've decided to keep it here, we should try not to leave it exposed for people to see. After all, goblins have always believed that anything they make belongs to them, and we, the Muggle-born wizards, have no way of keeping these things." Hermione shrugged.

After discussing how to deal with the spoils, the candlestick butler just happened to bring breakfast over. While eating, Ryan suddenly said, "Oh, by the way, I remembered something. You said that you only discovered the inheritance of blood power when you looked at your blood this morning. Where are you injured? Are you okay?"

After hearing what Ryan said, Hermione's face suddenly turned red. She then lowered her head and said softly, "I'm fine. You don't have to worry about this." After that, she hurriedly finished her breakfast and returned to her room.

This reaction was a bit surprising, but Ryan soon realized that he seemed to have made a very straight-man mistake, which was due to the lack of experience of a single dog. Fortunately, this incident did not have a big impact, and everything returned to normal at noon.

Time flies, and the time flies by.

In a blink of an eye, it has been almost a week since Ryan and his friends escaped to this world. During this time, Belle and the Beast's relationship has deepened day by day, and it can even be observed that the Beast has changed a lot because of Belle. At least he no longer buries his head in the soup bowl when drinking soup. Ryan and his friends have gained a lot of knowledge through their research on curses.

There is a small episode here. After learning that everyone was relieved because of Ryan's magic, the beast decided to allow them to study the rose, but they refused at this time. After all, the curse on each person is not clear, let alone the rose that is the focus of the curse.

At the same time, that rose is related to the lives of everyone in the castle. Ryan and the others don't want something bad to happen because of their rash actions.

Finally, at the end of this week, the unchanging situation changed.

That day, after lunch, Ryan and Hermione continued to study the knowledge gained from the curse in the library. Suddenly, the door opened and Belle and the Beast walked in.

After greeting Ryan and the others, the Beast pulled out a large golden book from a secret compartment in the library and said to Belle, "This is another thing the witch left me, a book that can allow you to truly escape from reality. But it is also a punishment, telling me that there is no place for monsters like me out there."

"Of course, you and I are different." The Beast took Belle's hand and placed it on the book, "Think about the place you want to go most in your heart." Soon the two disappeared from the library.

"A portkey that can change its destination as you wish?" Hermione said in surprise after looking at the place where Belle and the others disappeared. "This looks more advanced than our portkey, more like a magic item that has been permanently Apparated."

"Okay, if I'm not mistaken, the most critical moment is about to come. I think it's our turn." Ryan saw Hermione staring at the place where the two people disappeared and began to be dazed, so he quickly reminded her.

"That's right. We should also prepare. After all, this is my first time to personally participate in a legendary story." Hermione came back to her senses and nodded slightly to Ryan.

Sure enough, Belle and the Beast invited Ryan and the others to the dance after they returned. The most critical moment finally arrived. Ryan and the others took off the loose clothes they had been wearing for the past two days, put on the new school uniform robes made by the wardrobe lady, and then went to the auditorium. After all, they were here to attend the dance as spectators, and they might have to fight tonight, so it was better to dress neatly at this time.

When the dance began, Ryan and the others were amazed. Even though Belle and the Beast were very different in size, the two of them in dresses looked so harmonious on the dance floor.

"When can I be as beautiful as Belle?" Looking at Belle on the dance floor, Hermione couldn't help but sigh.

"You can wait until you grow up. After all, I can see your future self in Belle." Ryan comforted her.

"Thank you for your encouragement, but why does what you said sound like something my father would say at his age?" Hermione turned and said to Ryan beside her.

"Maybe it's because I'm mature inside, hahaha..." Hermione was really sensitive. Ryan could only laugh and make an excuse to change the subject.

The happy time passed quickly. After dancing, Belle saw her father in pain through the magic mirror and decided to save him. The beast chose to let her go because of love.

"Belle, I'll go with you. After all, I'm a wizard and maybe I can help you." According to the plan agreed upon in advance, Hermione volunteered to ride a horse with Belle to the town to rescue people, while Ryan helped set up defenses in the castle.

After leaving the castle, the horses galloped quickly on the road. When approaching the town, Hermione asked Belle to put her down, and then quietly entered the town under the cover of the Disillusionment Charm. When she walked to the square in the center of the town, she happened to see Belle being locked in the carriage.

"Looks like I have to wait a little longer." Hermione thought about it and hid in an alley. After all, there were too many people incited by Gaston. She couldn't kill them, nor could she cast many lethal spells. So she couldn't organize these fanatics by herself. In this case, she could only wait for the incited crowd to leave before thinking of a solution.

Soon the townspeople raised their weapons and torches and headed for the path outside the town. When everyone had left, the only person left in the square was the driver of the asylum's carriage.

Now the opportunity had come. After making sure that there were not many people in the town, Hermione slowly approached the coachman.

The driver walked around the empty square, looking a little nervous. After all, the beasts and black magic that Gaston had just mentioned really frightened him, so he only walked in the light under the street lamps, as if a monster might jump out of the darkness at any time.

Suddenly he heard a faint sound of footsteps approaching from behind, but when he turned around, he found nothing behind him.

Was I hallucinating because of the shock? The driver thought so, but just as he turned his head back, he heard a female voice behind him: "Falling unconscious." Then everything went black and he knew nothing.
