Hogwarts Raven's Claw

Chapter 60 Letter from Penelope

Chapter 60 Letter from Penelope

The Weasley brothers were taken back into the house by their old mother, grabbed by their ears. From the screams that came out of the house from time to time, it seemed that the two brothers had been severely beaten.

Ron was obviously very happy to see his two brothers who always bullied him being taught a lesson by their mother. He lay on the stair railing and looked down, laughing happily from time to time.

However, it turns out that snitching coupled with gloating comes at a price.

Early the next morning, after finding out what had happened, the Weasley brothers pulled their little brother Ron out of bed, under the pretext of exercising.

Judging from Ron's desperate expression, Mike guessed that the one being trained must be Ron.

Franklin was also pulled up by Mike. The kid played games until late at night. When he followed Mike outside, he still looked sleepy.

I tested Franklin's magic level last night. Although Franklin lost to George and Fred, Mike was quite satisfied.

After all, although the two brothers were a little naughty, they were real geniuses.

Mike could see that Franklin had indeed studied the notes he gave him very carefully and did well, but this was not enough to help Mike.

"Wake up! I'm going to teach you a spell next." Mike patted Franklin's head, "We don't have much time. If you can learn it before school starts, I'll take you to a good place."

Franklin was patted on the head by Mike twice and suddenly woke up. Hearing Mike's words, he asked curiously, "Where?"

"You should learn it first before you speak it." Mac rolled his eyes at him. "I'm going to teach you the Disillusionment Charm. Have you heard of it?"

"Isn't the Disillusionment Charm a control spell?" Franklin exclaimed when he heard it, and then felt something was wrong. He turned his head and found that there was no one around, so he whispered, "Where did you get it from?"

"Don't worry about that. I'm just asking you whether you want to learn it or not." Mike asked with a smile.

Franklin nodded hurriedly. You know, this is a control spell. If he missed this opportunity, he might never have the chance to learn it in his life.

"Okay, when you cast the Disillusionment Charm, you need to hide your breath as much as possible. It sounds tricky, but it's actually very simple. You just need to slow down your breathing and heartbeat. At the same time, draw a Z in the air with your wand. Do you understand?"

"Remember, it sounds easy."

"Everyone in the wizarding world knows that the spell for the Kedavra curse is Avada Kedavra. Why haven't I seen the Kedavra curse used everywhere?" Mike glared at Franklin and said, "Try it first and let me see."

Franklin was speechless after being retorted by Mike, so he had to shrink his neck and start casting the Disillusionment Spell as Mike said.

"Hide without a trace!"

After spending more than half an hour adjusting his breathing, Franklin roared out a spell and swung the wand in his hand violently, making a whistling sound.

However, nothing happened.

"Snapped!"

Mike slapped Franklin on the head.

"You think you are casting an Exploding Charm? Why are you yelling so loudly? Huh? Brother, you are casting an Disillusionment Charm, a Disillusionment Charm used to make yourself invisible!"

Mike looked at his red palms, sighed deeply, took out a book and threw it to Franklin.

"Forget it. Here are the notes on the Disillusionment Charm. Just practice it slowly by yourself. I'll test you tomorrow." After saying that, he walked towards the Burrow, leaving Franklin standing there alone, rubbing his head in grievance.

After returning to the Burrow and happily drinking a glass of iced plum juice handed to him by Mrs. Weasley, Mike's anger slowly dissipated.

Franklin was a weird guy. Sometimes he was so smart that he could understand what he meant with just a glance, but sometimes he was so stupid that people wanted to kill him with a hammer.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

As soon as Mike put the cup on the table, he heard the sound of knocking on the glass. He looked up and was delighted. Isn't this our Owl Warrior?
He quickly went forward, opened the window and let it in. The little guy obviously remembered Mike. He rubbed Mike's hand with his head, raised his legs and showed Mike the two letters tied to his legs.

Mike took the letter and read it.

The sender of the first letter was, as expected, Professor Flitwick. There was no special message in the letter, just wishing Mike a good time. The sender of the second letter surprised Mike a little, it was Penelope. It seemed that Penelope sent the letter to Professor Flitwick's house, so Errol had to bring it with him.

In the letter, Penelope enthusiastically invited Mike to go to Diagon Alley together on the weekend before school started, saying that she wanted to thank Mike properly.

As soon as Mike saw the word "thank you", he understood that Penelope must have received the Hogwarts prefect badge.

The little girl must have thought that she had said hello to Professor Flitwick, but in fact, Mike had never mentioned this to Professor Flitwick at all. Penelope was able to become a prefect entirely due to her own efforts.

Nodding with satisfaction, Mike carefully put the letter into the bag with the Invisible Extension Charm. If the Weasley brothers saw this letter, with their gossipy nature, everyone in Hogwarts would know that Penelope invited Mike to Diagon Alley for a date after school started.

I have to say, this world is really magical. Just as Mike thought of the Weasley brothers, these two came back carrying Ron.

"Yo! Isn't that Errol?"

"It's just right. We've sent Harry nearly ten letters and he hasn't replied to us yet. Let Errol make another trip."

The two men put Ron, who looked so depressed that he could barely stand, on a chair and said with a smile.

"Do you want Errol to tire himself to death? Didn't you see it before it flew back? If you want to send a letter, rent an owl from the Owl House in Diagon Alley!" Mrs. Weasley refused to listen and hit the two brothers on the forehead. "And Ron, what's wrong with you?"

"Uh, it's okay. He's just a little exhausted from over-exercise." The Weasley brothers explained with a somewhat stiff expression. While explaining, they looked at Ron who was slumped in the chair with a "kind" look.

"No... yes, I'm just a little exhausted." Poor Ron had no choice but to give in under the pressure of his two unscrupulous brothers.

"Okay, Mom, let's go mail the letter." The Weasley brothers regained their playful smiles after they had fooled him. "If Harry doesn't reply again this time, we'll have to go check it out in person. Don't expect anything unexpected to happen. Mike, do you want to come with us?"

"What do you mean? Sending a letter or going to Harry?"

"Uh, both."

"Send the letter to me. Forget about looking for Harry. I have things to do here. I advise you not to be too anxious. Harry has the protective spell left by his mother, so he will definitely not be in any danger."

PY: I recommend a novel about spiritual revival, "I Have a Udumbara Flower", which is nearly 10 words long. I am going to stop promoting it soon, so if you have time, please go and collect it.

Tomorrow I will go shopping with Miss Penelope, have fun.
