Hogwarts Raven's Claw

Chapter 37 Forbidden Forest

Chapter 37 Forbidden Forest
That night, Mike and others were escorted back to their respective colleges one by one by Professor McGonagall, except for Malfoy, who had to go to Madam Pomfrey for treatment.

Malfoy's injury was not serious, and he recovered in just one night under Madam Pomfrey's treatment. But he tried his best to pretend to be in unbearable pain, hoping that Madam Pomfrey would let him stay in the infirmary for a few more days, because he knew that if he went out now, he would definitely be greeted by a storm.

However, Madam Pomfrey did not buy it and forced him out.

So Malfoy had no choice but to go to the hall early the next morning, knowing that he could no longer escape.

There are four huge hourglasses in the hall, which are used to record the scores of the four major colleges. Now, the hourglasses belonging to Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Ravenclaw are missing a large part of the gems used to represent the scores. The Slytherin hourglass is particularly obvious, as they lost 100 points last night because of the night outing of two young wizards.

Mike came to the hall early and was now eating breakfast slowly.

The deduction of points was nothing to him. The points he earned for Ravenclaw had already far exceeded 50 points, and all the young wizards in Ravenclaw knew this very well.

But it's different for Draco and Chris. Slytherin has won the house cup for six consecutive years. In order to get the house cup Grand Slam, this year's graduates not only tried their best, but also warned their younger classmates that whoever misbehaves and causes them to not win the house cup this year will be the enemy of all the seventh-year graduates.

As soon as Draco arrived in the hall, he was taken away by two senior students. No one knew where he was taken to to discuss life.

As for Chris, although he was not carried away, looking at the scars on his face, he must have been beaten a lot after returning home last night.

Among the four, Dolphin was probably the one who was treated the best.

Not only did the Hufflepuff classmates not blame Dolphin for making their already pitiful house points even less, but they also surrounded him and kept comforting him, hoping that he would not blame himself for this matter. After all, they were used to being at the bottom of the class every year.

Mike was indifferent to all these things. Today's breakfast at Hogwarts was curry beef. Although Mike was a little surprised why he had curry for breakfast, to be honest, it tasted really good.

Suddenly an owl threw a letter onto Mike's plate. Mike reacted quickly and stood up to avoid it, so he was not splashed with curry.

But the little witch sitting opposite him was not so lucky. She was covered in curry on her head and face. After being stunned for a moment, she ran to the girls' bathroom crying.

Mike didn't care. He took out his magic wand and used it to clean the letter stained with curry. Then he picked up the letter and started reading.

Mr. Mike Townley, please arrive at Mr. Filch's office at midnight tonight. Mr. Filch will take you to the Forbidden Forest to begin your detention.

Mike was a little surprised when he saw the content of the letter. This was not right.

Isn't this the plot of the three saviors going to the forbidden forest? How did it happen to me?

Mike was a little confused. The Forbidden Forest plot was the first time that the original trio faced Voldemort, so there was a high possibility that he would encounter Voldemort this time as well.

However, with Mike's current strength, he would most likely be defeated if he rashly encountered Voldemort.

"Looks like we need to make some preparations and not just sit there and wait for death." Mike stopped eating and walked towards the Ravenclaw common room.

Mike spent the whole day preparing for the evening trip to the Forbidden Forest. What he was most proud of was that he had pieced together an "anti-death curse garment".

This protective suit is actually not much different from an ordinary vest, except that it has many pockets, and Mike sewed a lab mouse into each pocket. If the Avada Kedavra curse hits this suit, it is very likely that only the mice will be hit, so Mike can survive.

This protective suit was not actually invented by Mike, but was invented by half-blood wizards who were afraid of being found by Voldemort during his rampage. This suit is definitely effective, and many people have survived the Avada Kedavra curse with this suit, but the only drawback is that it requires luck. If you are hit in other parts of your body, you will still die.

However, what Mike lacks the least is luck.

Everything was ready, and Mike set off for Filch's office.

When Mike arrived, Dolphin and the others had already arrived, but Filch was nowhere to be seen in the office.

"Mike, do you know? My mother told me that there are giant eight-eyed spiders in the Forbidden Forest." Dolphin was very nervous. He pulled Mike's sleeve and lowered his voice and said, "The giant eight-eyed spider is the kind of spider that eats children. I heard that they are as big as the Knight Bus. Oh, you don't know the Knight Bus yet? The Knight Bus is..."

Before Dolphin could continue, Filch's iconic voice came over.

"That's right! You will all be eaten by the Acromantula tonight!"

Filch limped in from the door and looked at the four people in the office.

"Okay, come with me, we're already late!" Filch lit an oil lamp. "As far as I'm concerned, the school doesn't need to use such a troublesome method to punish students. Just hang the offending students from the ceiling for a few days like they did before, and make sure they behave themselves when you let them down. I mean it. In fact, I keep those chains in good condition."

"Okay, I don't have time to listen to your bragging. Let's go, Filch." Mike was getting a little impatient. The little white mice sewn into his vest kept moving around, making him very uncomfortable.

Filch was furious, but Mac just walked out of the office.

When Malfoy and the others saw Mike taking the lead, they followed him out. They all disliked Filch.

Mike came to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest according to his memory. A huge black figure was standing there motionless. It was Hagrid. His figure was particularly easy to recognize.

"Oh, you are the students who come to help tonight, right? Where is Filch?" Hagrid was a little confused.

"That old Squib walked too slowly. We left him behind long ago." After saying this, Malfoy glanced at Mike with a smug look, implying that you are not the only one who will be in the spotlight.

"Hu... Hu! You... you are talking nonsense! I... I am not..." Filch rushed over breathlessly and just heard what Malfoy had just said.

"I saw the letter you left on the table! Speedy spell lessons, hahaha! Poor old Filch can't even cast a spell yet!" Malfoy laughed.

"Alright! Stop arguing, you're already late." Hagrid interrupted Filch who was about to retort, "Let's go."

Hagrid, holding a torch in one hand and leading the hound Fang in the other, led the way into the Forbidden Forest. Mike followed without hesitation. Thorfinn and the others looked at each other, and after a little hesitation, they also followed.
