Chapter 228: Shit Ward

"What the hell!" William was shocked inside, but there was no expression on his face. Why was this haunting guy here again?

When Ward came to SHIELD for an interview, he was rejected by William, which made Coulson very strange because Ward's test results were so good.

According to Maria Hill's assessment of Ward, his fighting skills are top-notch, his reconnaissance abilities are even better than Black Widow's, and his communication skills are even more amazing.

"I don't know why you rejected him." Coulson spread his hands and said, "But we need his abilities. He will be a good helper."

"Don't you think his family environment is not good?" William whispered, "Domestic violence since childhood may have caused him psychological problems."

"I seem to remember that your family had a lot of problems." Coulson frowned and said, "Your mother died when you were young, and your father was imprisoned for murder. Didn't you grow up without becoming a criminal?"

Hearing William and Coulson whispering, Ward couldn't help but say, "Commanders, I think everyone has their own childhood shadow, and I chose to accept it. This is my precious life experience!"

"You are the only one who talks too much!" William glared at Ward, scaring him so much that he quickly sat down. William usually looked amiable, bah, approachable and a little funny, but when he was serious, he still exuded a domineering aura.

After all, William knew how dark the heart of this seemingly harmless young agent sitting in front of them was.

To be honest, when William was watching the American TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", he never dreamed that this handsome guy who looked like the male protagonist was actually a traitor of Hydra!
This guy's disguise is so good, he can disguise himself as what he needs to be, a popular lover, an obedient subordinate, or a cold-blooded killer.

No one knew which one was his true self. Later, William discovered that Ward was actually a despicable man who would do anything to achieve his goals.

When William found out that Ward had turned evil, he was completely stunned. Ward had been turning evil all the time, and had never been surpassed.

Looking back on Ward's life, we must start with his unfortunate family life. Domestic violence twisted his mind, and such a childhood was really impossible to redeem.

Fortunately, a man appeared and saved him from his hellish life. Unfortunately, that man was Garrett from Hydra. So this guy once again moved towards evil...

Next, Ward lurked in S.H.I.E.L.D. and joined Coulson's task force. After Hydra was exposed, Ward helped Garrett eliminate many enemies. His hands were stained with more and more blood, and he finally embarked on the journey of evil and never looked back.

After Garrett's death, Ward's ambitions grew. He led the remaining young and strong members of Hydra to fight against S.H.I.E.L.D., and he colluded with Malik.

He was killed by Coulson because he killed Coulson's girlfriend. William thought Ward was finally dead, but he didn't expect that the Hive had occupied Ward's body and became a terrifying enemy.

When the hive was finally destroyed, Ward's body also disappeared. Do you think that's the end?

When the lingering Ward appeared in the virtual world of the framework and was completely cleansed, William couldn't help but yelled, "Fuck Ward!"

From the shadow of his childhood to becoming Hydra, to betraying S.H.I.E.L.D., to becoming Hive, Ward is getting darker and darker, and he can't wash it off even if he wants to.

William felt that this character must have offended the screenwriter, otherwise why would he not die for so long and continue to bear various responsibilities. When people thought Ward was completely dead, this lingering guy would suddenly appear. Surprising? Unexpected?
So, William didn't want Ward to join Coulson's special operations team, because he didn't know what this Hydra agent would do in the future. But on second thought, it didn't seem good for this important character to disappear like this.

When Hydra revives, William needs to use all the power he can, so an idea emerges in his mind: should he try to clear Ward's name?

"Okay, I can agree to let him join." William glanced at the traitor beside him and said, "But I have one condition..."

In this way, after some twists and turns, Ward finally got into Coulson's action team. William's conditions were simple. Although Ward was a spy and tactical expert, he joined this special action team in the name of a consultant assistant.

To be honest, Ward was definitely unwilling, but Coulson kept persuading him, so Ward could only pretend to agree reluctantly.

In this way, William now has two assistants. One is Iron Man Tony Stark, and the other is Hydra traitor Grant Ward.

I wonder if there is time for the two assistants to meet. In the comics, it is said that Hydra stole Iron Man's technology and created a powerful army of fearless robots. These robots look very similar to Tony's armor, and Ward often dresses up as Iron Man to deceive his enemies.

Of course Tony is the real father. William usually calls him assistant but it's just a joke. But it's different for Ward.

William's rank in SHIELD is eight, and he is only at level six now, which means that William, a low-powered man, can order Ward around in the future, because from now on, Ward is his lackey.

"Please tell me your voice lock code."

"I love Captain America"

"I can defuse a nuclear bomb with my bare hands."

In front of the SHIELD hub's combat command center, Coulson and Ward spoke their passwords. When it was William's turn, he smiled helplessly and said, "Black-hearted Chief!"

Coulson and Ward were both stunned. What a guts you are. You are so brazen in doing things like this. Aren't you afraid that the director will deduct your salary when he finds out?
"what's the situation?"

William and others saw a big screen in front of them, and Ward looked at the scene on the screen and said.

A mysterious man wearing a hood fell from the sky, holding a woman in his arms, and jumped out of a burning building filled with thick smoke. The building was more than ten stories high, but he landed safely. It seemed that he was not an ordinary person.

"A superhero, Agent Ward." Coulson crossed his arms over his chest and said, "This is our first mission!"

"We received a gift from the Rising Tide organization." Coulson continued, clicking on a folder that contained a video and a recording.

"The secret has been revealed. For decades, you have been hiding in the shadows. After the Battle of New York, you emerged from the darkness, and now we all know that superheroes exist. You have been hiding the truth and blocking the news, but the tide is rising and all the truth will be revealed!"

The voice sounded like a woman, and William knew that the most important character among the Agents of SHIELD was finally about to appear!
