Douluo: My martial spirit is Godzilla

Chapter 42 Questions about Zhu Zhuqing

Chapter 42 Questions about Zhu Zhuqing
Regarding the question of why the author focuses on writing about Zhu Zhuqing.

This starts with my reading of the original novel.

Ten years ago, I watched Douluo Dalu for the first time and was shocked by the handsome boy and the protagonist, Little White Dragon Aotian. I couldn’t stop watching it.

I picked it up again and read it a few times, and also read a lot of fan fiction. I have completely lost interest in the protagonist Long Aotian.

It was not until I started writing fan fiction that I forced myself to read the original work over and over again before I began writing.

Here comes the point.

After reading the original novel so many times, I have come up with some of my own understandings of the characters.

My personal opinion about Zhu Zhuqing is.

Lamenting its misfortune, anger is indisputable.

Born into a cruel family, she was engaged to a scumbag since childhood. It turned out that this scumbag was not only a scumbag, but also a coward.

Faced with family struggles, Zhu Zhuqing, who is three years younger than Dai Mubai, chose to fight against Zhu Zhuyun, while Dai Mubai chose to run away.

From then on, Zhu Zhuqing began her long journey to find her husband.

Although the original book did not mention that it took many years to find it.

But counting from the time Dai Mubai was 12 years old to Shrek, she had been searching for at least three years.

How old was Zhu Zhuqing at that time?

Nine years old.

A little girl without even two rings.

For the sake of a scumbag, she traveled all over the country for three years, despite Zhu Zhuyun's pursuit, just to find a scumbag.

How much suffering did she endure during this period?

It is not mentioned in the original book, so you can fill in the blanks on your own.

Where is Dai Mubai?

He lived a life of debauchery and abuse of power. The manager of the Rose Hotel even had to respectfully call him "Mr. Dai". He was so domineering that he would start a fight if he disagreed with someone.

When Zhu Zhuqing entered Shrek at the age of 12, Dai Mubai couldn't even recognize who she was. He just felt that the girl's martial spirit was very compatible with his.

Ask yourself, is it worth it?
Another question.

Does Zhu Zhuqing really like Dai Mubai?
Without a doubt, I don't like it.

Don't use the spirit fusion technique that requires telepathy to prove that she likes Dai Mubai.

The Acacia Heartbreak Red has proved everything.

Zhu Zhuqing had a deep grudge against Dai Mubai. She even witnessed with her own eyes the scene of Dai Mubai hugging the twins and checking into a hotel.

But in the end, for the sake of so-called "brotherhood", she chose to accept Dai Mubai, because the Shrek Seven Devils needed the ultimate killer move of the Nether White Tiger.

In the later period, he became a super big pendant, and he could be said to be the most miserable one among the protagonists in the original novel.

My opinion on this role is.

She is a strong woman, used to hiding herself with indifference, but beneath her strong appearance, she is full of pity and sadness. She is used to living a life of submission, which makes people feel pity for her misfortune and angry at her for not fighting back.

So I wanted to make her more flesh and blood in my writing, let her come alive, and let her truly fight for her own destiny.

At least we should live with more dignity, instead of succumbing to our fate and the strange brotherhood of the Shrek Seven Devils. One more thing.

Although I write fan fiction, I don’t write the kind of mindless, enjoyable writing, nor do I write the kind of writing that is written simply for the sake of having a harem.

I will add some of my own understanding of the character, or a new personality setting.

For example, for the lax Yu Luomian, he could make no progress for more than ten or twenty years in order to avoid competing with Yu Yuanzhen. However, out of his love for Yu Xiaowei, he would absorb a spirit ring that was not very suitable, or even a high-year spirit ring that was usually only chosen by Titled Douluo, just for the sake of that possible spirit bone.

For example, Yu Yuanzhen was reluctant to expel a useless son like Yu Xiaogang from the family, and kept him in the family for many years. It was not until Yu Xiaogang revealed the family secret that he was forced to expel him under internal pressure. He silently took on the name of being old-fashioned and mean.

For example, Ning Rongrong, from a spoiled child who was lawless in the original novel, has become a naive child in line with her age. In her heart, Brother Xiao Wei is her heaven.

For example, Salas is an archbishop who has devoted his life to the Spirit Hall. As long as the Spirit Hall can become stronger, he can forcibly snatch people from the Spirit Hall and even offend two of the three major sects at the same time.

As for Zhu Zhuqing, in the current plot, I want to highlight her suffering.

In Silvester City, she was willing to become a thief just to get a bite to eat, and threatened Yu Xiaowei to get her food. However, for Yu Xiaowei who was disguised as an ordinary person, she only threatened him with words and did not use force. This was the bottom line of her conscience.

In Soto City, she was captured by Bu Le, but facing Yu Xiaowei who saved him, she only wanted to take back her soul guide, only because her underwear was with Yu Xiaowei, which was her last dignity.

At the Rose Hotel, faced with the seriously injured Dai Mubai and Yu Xiaowei who saved her life, after making the choice, she still chose to succumb to fate. This is her tragedy.

A reader commented, isn’t this cheap?
It sounds a bit harsh, but in layman's terms, it is indeed the truth.

Some people also said that after seeing Zhu Zhuqing chose to find Dai Mubai, they didn’t want to watch it anymore.

I can’t really say anything, but this is how the plot is set up right now.

Am I going to write that Yu Xiaowei suddenly becomes domineering and beats up Dai Mubai, and then Zhu Zhuqing, who has been looking for a fiancé for three years, falls in love with someone else?

Come on, isn't this kind of protagonist who is loved by everyone and makes flowers bloom wherever he goes a stud?

I really want to say that I am running a harem.

Did Yu Xiaowei flirt with Zhu Zhuqing?
Not only that, he is even deliberately trying to sow discord between her and Dai Mubai.

If you consider Yu Xiaowei's saving people as being ambiguous, then I have nothing to say.

And why did you write the section about Silves City?
It's very simple.

Without laying the groundwork, are we going to let Yu Xiaowei come right out and provoke Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai?
Isn't this abrupt?
To say more would involve subsequent plots, which are not convenient to disclose in advance.

Let me digress.

Take Chapter 38, for example.

What do you think of Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai as giving a girl away? What do you think of Zhu Zhuqing and the protagonist as starting a harem?

It's so difficult to write Douluo fan fiction...

So, I decided to write according to my own outline.

Anyway, it’s not a harem, not a harem, not a harem. As for whether there is a single female lead, it depends on my mood.

Also, who says that if there is only one female protagonist, the supporting roles cannot be female? Does the world with only one female protagonist only have men and the female protagonist?

Thank you to all the readers who support me, follow me, and give me monthly tickets, recommendation tickets and rewards.

In addition, a special thanks to Liang Kaibingdu, who has been teaching me step by step since I started writing the outline. Py trading is awesome.

If you like harem novels, you can appreciate his "Douluo: You Can Get Stronger by Drinking", "Douluo: I Promise This is My Last Bowl of Rice" and his new book "Douluo: Undercover in the Spirit Hall, Who Asked You to Marry the Pope?"
