Chapter 171 Bloodshed
In the corner room on the sixth floor of the hotel, the curtains were drawn tightly shut, and the light was dim.

Susan and Xiaoya were tied to chairs.

Xiaoya had injuries on her face and body, her hair was disheveled, and her head was drooping, as if she had fainted.

In contrast, Susan appeared much more presentable, with no obvious external injuries. Her wrists, which were bound, were slightly abraded and bleeding from the struggle, and her clothes and hair were in disarray.

The room was filled with smoke, and more than a dozen young men with tattooed arms and buzz cuts were puffing away. The man in the lead had a face full of scars, a knife scar on his right cheek, and a pair of triangular eyes that were sinister and ruthless. He looked like a tough guy.

He seemed somewhat agitated, sitting on the leather sofa, toying with the gleaming dagger in his hand.

Susan forced a smile and tried to appear calm: "Mr. Zhou, what are you doing? We're so familiar with each other, can't we talk things out calmly?"

Zhou Dahu threw away his cigarette butt, snorted coldly, and did not answer.

“Master Zhou, you know perfectly well that Brother Chen has always valued me highly. You’ve tied me up without even asking what happened. Isn’t this like the flood washing away the Dragon King’s temple?” Susan said, her lips slightly pursed.

"Stop your fucking nonsense! If Master Chen finds out you two bitches have attracted the cops, you'll be the first ones he won't let off!" Zhou Dahu said impatiently, slamming his hand on the table, his wide eyes gleaming with a fierce light.

Susan's heart skipped a beat, and she stammered, "Mr. Zhou, it's a misunderstanding, it's all a misunderstanding. Those two didn't look like cops. Xiaoya was confused for a moment and didn't take Mr. Zhou and the manager's words to heart. She already knows she was wrong. Please be magnanimous and forgive her this time."

Zhou Dahu sneered and turned his gaze to the unconscious Xiaoya: "How to deal with this bitch depends on the manager's decision. Telling me won't help."

After saying that, Zhou Dahu stood up, walked up to Xiaoya, and grabbed her hair.

Xiaoya woke up in pain and saw Zhou Dahu's fierce face so close to her. She was so frightened that she cried out, "Master Zhou, please let me go! I really know I was wrong. I will never dare to do it again!"

"So you fucking know you can't do it now?" Zhou Dahu slapped Xiaoya hard across the face, leaving five bright red finger marks. He gripped Xiaoya's chin tightly with his tiger-like hands. "The manager just said this morning that we won't serve any unfamiliar faces, and you've already caused me trouble? If those two are really cops, you'd be dead a thousand times over!"

Susan was extremely anxious, watching Xiaoya being beaten, but there was nothing she could do.

This was indeed caused by Xiaoya, but if Liyang Hotel has done nothing wrong, what is it afraid of the police for?
Susan bit her lip tightly, her mood at its lowest.

She desperately wanted to expose all the dark secrets of Liyang Hotel and wanted to fight Zhou Dahu to the death, but she was still too weak and could do nothing.

All along, she had deliberately belittled Xiaoya and made things difficult for her at every turn, just so that Xiaoya wouldn't become a receptionist.

Working as a receptionist might mean you'd only be occasionally harassed by thugs like Zhou Dahu, but becoming a receptionist means you've already stepped into an abyss.

She had spoken to Xiaoya calmly before, but Xiaoya had been brainwashed by the manager and was convinced that by working as a receptionist, she could use her advantages to secure a bright future.

But is such a future truly bright and promising? No, it is dark and rotten.

The urgent ringing of the phone interrupted Susan's thoughts. Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly looked at Zhou Dahu.

Zhou Dahu loosened his grip on Xiaoya, gave the two of them a warning look, and then answered the phone.

His brows furrowed deeper and deeper, and he said "I understand" and "okay" several times before hanging up the phone with a dark expression.

Susan looked at him nervously, as if awaiting the final verdict.

If nothing unexpected happens, this call should be from the manager.

Sure enough, Zhou Dahu turned around, beckoned to his men, and then walked toward Xiaoya with a sinister look on his face.

Susan's heart sank. Ignoring her own predicament, she cried out in a hoarse voice, "Zhou Dahu, what are you doing! Don't go over there! Don't touch her!"

At Zhou Dahu's signal, several young men held down the struggling Susan and gagged her with a towel.

Susan let out a sob, her eyes reddening, and stared intently at Zhou Dahu.

Zhou Dahu stretched his limbs, glanced back at Susan, and smiled maliciously: "You bitch, aren't you usually pretty arrogant? The manager just ordered us to deal with the troublemaker. Hmph, look at this pretty face, it's a pity to sell her to Southeast Asia like this. Brothers, you've worked hard all day, today we'll let you have a taste of the good life."

As he spoke, a lewd glint appeared in his eyes, and he rubbed his hands together as he approached Xiaoya.

The young men behind Susan also started to grope her.

Suddenly, with a loud bang, the tightly closed door was kicked open.

Lu Jingming held a baseball bat, exuding a cold and ruthless aura, his sharp eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Wei Qingsong was shielded behind him, his brown eyes subtly surveying the situation in the room.

Besides the scarred man at the head, there were about ten other people, and several iron bars stood in the corner, all of which were handy weapons.

"Damn it! You stinking cop!" Almost in the blink of an eye, Zhou Dahu had already grabbed an iron rod and swung it at Lu Jingming.

Lu Jingming reacted quickly. As he swung the baseball bat, he took a half step with his right foot to dodge the sweeping bat, and then kicked Zhou Dahu hard in the waist with his left leg.

With a dull thud, Zhou Dahu stumbled back several steps, knocking over a wooden chair.

He was instantly enraged and ordered his henchmen behind him, "Go get them! Take care of these two cops!"

The thugs quickly surrounded them, each staring menacingly at Lu Jingming and Wei Qingsong.

Lu Jingming shielded Wei Qingsong behind him, his gaze sharp as he calmly and steadily observed the surrounding environment.

He had extensive combat training experience at the police academy, so taking down these thugs wouldn't be difficult. However, there were too many of them, and they also had two hostages, Susan and Xiaoya. To ensure the safety of the hostages, they still had to find a way to outsmart them.

The air around them seemed to freeze as the thugs gripped their steel pipes and clubs, poised to strike.

Two thugs on the left had already attacked first. They saw that Lu Jingming was skilled, so they reached out to grab Wei Qingsong. Wei Qingsong nimbly dodged their attack, and with a beautiful sweeping leg, tripped the thug closest to her. She picked up a wooden chair next to her and smashed it down on the thug's head without hesitation.

The wooden chair shattered into pieces. The thug touched the blood on his forehead, his vision blurred, and he fainted.

This fierce style really startled the other thugs, who stared blankly at Wei Qingsong.

This woman looked gentle and weak, but she was actually more ruthless than Lu Jingming, drawing blood right away.

She casually tossed her chestnut curls behind her, holding a sharp chair leg in her hand. Her eyebrows were raised in a wicked manner, and her chin was slightly lifted, as if to say: If you're not afraid of death, then keep going.
