Bringing a System to the Beast World

Chapter 558 Old Six, You Will Lose Me

Chapter 558 Sixth Brother, You Will Lose Me

Unbeknownst to the medicine wizard who was rushing off to savor the delicious food, just as Teng Qian went to greet them, an orc quickly left the Snow Moon Tribe's encampment and ran into the forest.

Wu Yue, the stand-in, is leading Emma and Ayu in collecting wild grasses and herbs in the forest, teaching them as they gather. This was the order Wu Yue gave to the stand-in before leaving.

Yuan Lang leaned indifferently against a thick tree trunk, his eyes gazing blankly into the distance, as if trying to see through the forest to the person he missed.

rustling
Suddenly, the sound of what sounded like large prey moving through the woods came from the side. Yuan Lang immediately snapped out of his thoughts, gripped his weapon, and stood guard in front of the three stand-ins.

"Boss, we've finally found you."

With a hint of anxiety on his face, Teng Kun told Yuan Lang about the arrival of the medicine wizard and his men before he could even catch his breath.

Upon hearing this, the orc frowned slightly: "Didn't the medicine wizard say what he came here for?"

Teng Kun wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "He only said he had something to discuss with Yue, but he didn't say what it was."

Yuan Lang frowned, glancing out of the corner of his eye at the stand-in who was showing the two children herbs and wild vegetables: "Although we can't tell the difference between this stand-in and Yue, the Teng tribe has a shaman. If he finds out, we are no match for those super tribes now."

Yingze nodded: "So I discussed it with Tengqian and Tengkun, and I decided to deliver the message and see if you have any ideas, boss?"

Yuan Lang slung the bow and arrows he had just taken off for defense back onto his back: "You stay here and protect the three of them. I'll go to the direction of the Uk tribe to find Yue, and then I'll come here to meet you."

Watching Yuan Lang disappear into the forest after a few leaps, Ying Ze quickly came to the three of them.

Meanwhile, Wu Yue and Ta Yun, who had replenished their points along the way, were secretly hiding in a large tree on the edge of their territory.

Thinking of the group of medicine wizards and Teng Qian she had seen before, she couldn't help but sigh deeply.

"I only spent a short time gathering some herbs, and the people from the Teng tribe got ahead of me?"

Wu Yue muttered to herself in frustration, feeling extremely depressed.

Unable to contact the beastmen in the tribe and unaware of the tribe's current situation, he could only crane his neck and look in the direction of the Snow Moon Tribe's encampment.

"I hope Yuan Lang and the others can come here to inspect the area, so we can cooperate in returning to the tribe."

Just then, she rubbed her eyes in disbelief: "Tongzi, look at that person who came out of the woods, he looks just like Yuan Lang, like a copy and paste."

The system scanned in the direction its host indicated, and then the little legged creature in the system space stumbled: "Dog host, are you still asleep? That's Yuan Lang himself, okay?"

Wu Yue stood up from the tree trunk in surprise: "Yuan Lang!"

A clear, joyful female voice rang out in the forest. The tall figure, who was about to continue forward, suddenly froze, then looked up sharply in the direction from which the voice came.

A little female was holding onto a tree trunk with one hand and waving the other hand happily, her little face full of smiles.

The beastman was startled, and tried to suppress the trembling in his heart. In a few flashes, he leaped onto the big tree where Wu Yue was.

As she watched the tall figure approaching her, his deep, dark eyes filled with a long-forgotten longing, a sudden thought welled up in her heart: "Yuan Lang."

The orc stopped and stared at her with his deep eyes.

"Moon, come here."

Wu Yue felt a lump in her throat and immediately ran towards him.

Yuan Lang's Adam's apple bobbed, and he couldn't help but take a few steps forward, opening his arms to firmly embrace the little female.

Wu Yue nuzzled her slightly irritated head against his broad, sturdy chest, listening to his steady, powerful heartbeat.

At that moment, she suddenly realized how deep her feelings were for this beastman who also came from another world.

Yuan Lang's dry, large hand stroked her hair, his chin gently brushing against the crown of her head. His low, husky voice, almost a whisper, rang in her ear: "Yue, I miss you so much." Wu Yue's cheeks, pressed against the orc's chest, flushed slightly, and the corners of her lips unconsciously turned up: "Mmm."

I miss you too.
A moment later, the two separated.

"Shall we meet up with Yingze first? Or when the shaman from the Teng tribe arrives, I'll be outside with your substitute and the two little ones."

Wu Yue's eyes lit up: "Okay."

The orc turned and bowed, glancing at Wu Yue, who stood behind him with a puzzled look: "Get on, I'll carry you."

Wu Yue looked at him, the light and shadow cast through the branches outlining his angular profile, his high nose and slightly upturned lips, and his own reflection in his deep eyes.

Seeing her standing there in a daze, the corners of his lips deepened, he turned around and bent down, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and pulled her into his arms with a forceful pull. A soft, husky laugh rang in her ear, and warm breath sprayed against her ear, making Wu Yue, who was still shocked to be held by a baby, blush slightly.

"Let's go and meet up with Yingze."

Yuan Lang leaped down from the tree with Wu Yue in his arms, his agile figure seemingly unaffected by the weight of the little female in his embrace.

Even while running, Wu Yue bounced slightly: "You've lost weight."

Wu Yue blushed, feeling more and more like a pet being weighed.

Seeing her embarrassed and annoyed, Yuan Lang chuckled and tightened his arms around her waist: "Your waist has gotten thinner too. I'll go out with you next time."

The little thing is so bad at taking care of itself.

Seeing her staring at him with wide eyes, Yuan Lang's firm chest trembled, and he stroked her head with his large hand, gently pulling her against his chest.

Wu Yue had no choice but to wrap her arms around his neck, letting the orc's strong heartbeat resonate in her heart through her ears.

Yuan Lang was moving very fast, but Wu Yue, protected by the orc, didn't feel any jolting at all. She even snuggled into his warm embrace and fell asleep.

Seeing that she was asleep, the orc's arms around her became even more tender.

Yingze, who was guarding the substitute Wuyue and the two cubs, saw a familiar figure approaching rapidly from afar.

"Yuan Lang".

Upon seeing the familiar figure wrapped in animal hides by the orcs, Yingze's eagle eyes shone like stars.

“Witch Moon She”

Before he could finish speaking, Yuan Lang's deep eyes turned to the two small figures surrounding the substitute Wu Yue.

"Take them to collect some food."

Ying Ze understood, turned around and said something to the two cubs. The two waved to Wu Yue, the stand-in, and obediently followed him to the riverbank not far away.

Yuan Lang glanced at the little female in his arms, whose breathing was even, and chuckled as he pinched her delicate, fair nose.

Wu Yue, who was having a sweet dream, suddenly felt short of breath and opened her eyes with a whoosh, meeting the orc's smiling eyes.

You old bastard, you'll lose me.

I went looking for my cat yesterday, but couldn't find her all night. I searched all the surrounding parks. She's been missing for a whole week. Today after get off work, I went to the basement again, trying to comfort myself, and called "Xiao Qi" a few times. And that little rascal came out on her own.

Because there's an idiot in the neighborhood who's already poisoned four cats, I was afraid Xiaoqi would be poisoned too. But the little guy is perfectly fine. It seems being picky about food does have its advantages in this situation.
