“Professor, you are not alone. We have all experienced similar terrifying events that shocked our understanding of humanity,” Mitchell McGann said with lingering fear. “Everyone has experienced similar confusion and doubt, but it is this courage to pursue the truth that drives us forward.”

Mitchell McGann sensed Professor Frolov's inner pain and confusion; she knew this was not a simple problem.

“Professor, I understand your confusion and unease. What we are encountering is indeed far beyond our previous understanding,” Mitchell McGann said gently but firmly. “But this may also mean that we are standing on the edge of science, facing an unprecedented field. Perhaps this is an opportunity for us to embrace new knowledge and ideas and explore the unknown.”

“Exploring the unknown may be confusing and frightening, but Professor, just this once, please trust us,” Mitchell McGann said. “Please trust Mr. Tierra.”

"Sigh," Professor Frolov sighed wearily, "Thank you, Miss McGonagall. I feel much better now. You should go and rest."

“Okay, Professor, you can rest first. I’ll go check our diving equipment,” Mitchell McGann said. “We’ll be in our target area in two or three days. Once the sonar on the fishing boat identifies the suspected deep-sea divers, we’ll dive immediately.”

“Thank you for your hard work, Mitchell,” Professor Frolov said with concern.

“It’s not too hard, Professor. Things will get much easier once we make contact with the Deep Ones,” Mitchell McGann said. “Once we show them goodwill, we’ll be able to use some magic.”

Mitchell McGann spoke a few more words to Professor Frolov, and after confirming that he had no further needs, he left the lounge.

After Mitchell McGann left, Professor Frolov did not immediately lie down to rest. Instead, he took another sip of his hot tea and gazed at the endless, undulating ocean through the cabin window with a mixture of fascination and bewilderment.

"Sigh," Professor Frolov sighed deeply, took one or two sleeping pills from his bedside table, took them, and lay back down on the bed, quietly waiting to fall asleep.

"Harry! Harry!"

Half-asleep and half-awake, Harry vaguely heard a few sharp, familiar female voices.

"Harry! Get up now!"

Then Harry was shoved hard. The sudden feeling of weightlessness jolted him awake.

Harry woke up with a start, looking around in a daze—

Hermione's furry head was right in front of his face.

After realizing she was awake, Hermione turned around and patted the person on the other bed—

"Ron! Ron! Wake up! We're going to be late!"

Hermione woke Ron in the same rough manner.

“Hermione, it’s only six o’clock.” Harry grumbled unhappily.

“We’ve arrived!” Hermione said.

"We're here?" Ron asked in surprise. "I remember the timetable said we wouldn't arrive until eight o'clock."

“Don’t you eat breakfast?” Hermione said. “Breakfast on the ship starts at six o’clock.”

"Let's wash up and have breakfast, then we'll disembark at eight o'clock!" Hermione urged.

"Hurry up, Ron, don't lie back down!" Hermione slapped Ron's shoulder hard again, then turned and left the boys' room.
