The photo on the card showed a tall, thin, and somewhat balding middle-aged man in his fifties. His slightly hunched back indicated the passage of time. The glasses he wore looked thick and dull, but the eyes beneath them were sharp and cynically clear-headed.

“And Mitchell McGann.” Tierra created another card, featuring a short-haired, quiet girl with slender arms and legs who looked very capable.

“My former employee, a graduate student in the Geography Department at Durham University, although her master’s research topic was the study of rock composition in Central Asia, she also had excellent grades in marine geography and marine biogeography during her time at university, so I brought her into this operation,” Tiera explained. “She will also be one of our first volunteers to undergo Muggle magical transformation.”

“Negotiations and alliances with the Deep Ones are a lengthy and tedious undertaking,” Tiera said. “Now there’s one more place—”

“Dreamland.” Tiera took a few steps and pointed near the Hindu Kush Mountains on the map. “This is a dimension that can be entered through dreams. It is a parallel space constructed by the human subconscious. In it, humans can communicate with each other. Landing on the moon only requires a sea vessel. The Earth is flat, and the way of life is still medieval.”

“The Dream Realm is largely a mirror image of our ‘Awake’ universe, sharing similar planets, stars, and other cosmic geographical features to a certain extent, but its physical rules differ drastically from those of the real world!” Tiera said. “This is our refuge and our battlefield—”
