Diana took a step back from the podium in alarm, and the other candidate standing to her right, the elderly man Teddar Arucald from New York, didn't even have time to say a word.

Seeing the same panicked look in her opponent's eyes, Diana knew that the debate was getting out of control.

What should have been a debate where different candidates presented their views and engaged in lively discussions had completely devolved into a one-man show by Tom Riddle.

At this point, even if they deliberately planted loyal agitators among the audience members, it would be of no use.

"Fellow countrymen, now is the time to unite and fight back against evil!" Voldemort's booming voice rang out once more. "We will re-establish the dignity of pure-blood wizards and let all Muggles know that no one can ever again underestimate our power!"

For a moment, the hall was filled with passion and ambition, and permeated with an atmosphere that made one's blood boil.

Incited by Voldemort, the wizards stood up, their faces filled with anticipation.

“And them—” Voldemort suddenly pointed at Diana and Teddar Arucald, who hadn’t had time to speak, making the two candidates’ hearts skip a beat.

"And they! They are the sinners of our wizarding world!" Voldemort said viciously. "They sold you to Tierra! They sold our entire wizarding world to Muggles!"

Diana sensed the overwhelming public opinion orchestrated by Voldemort. She tried to remain calm but could not hide her inner fear.

In that instant, she felt small and vulnerable, and her hand holding the podium trembled involuntarily.

With a heavy heart, Teddar Arucard looked at Diana, and the two exchanged a knowing glance before standing together to face this sudden change.

“Mr. Riddle, watch your words! This is our debate hall, not a place for you to spread hatred and slander. We have not betrayed anyone, much less sold the wizarding world to Muggles!” Diana’s voice trembled slightly, but she still managed to answer with feigned composure. Teddle Arucald intensified his confrontation with Voldemort: “We are here to seek peace and unity in the wizarding world, not division and hatred! You are the one who has instigated a baseless war of hatred! You are the sinner of the wizarding world!”

"Listen to it, listen to it, listen to it!" Voldemort suddenly burst into laughter. "Listen to their slander!"

“You are inciting treason! You are creating division!” Diana said, pointing a trembling finger at Voldemort.

Teder Arucalde gripped the podium tightly, speaking with unwavering conviction: "We seek the truth, not baseless accusations! Such slander will only lead to more innocent victims shedding blood, and we cannot tolerate this situation!"

Diana and Teddar Arucald's words gradually resonated with some of the onlookers, and faint voices of support began to emerge from the crowd.

Upon seeing this, Voldemort suddenly burst into laughter. His lips curled into a cruel and mocking smile.

"What are you laughing at?" Diana demanded angrily.

"What's the point of this debate?" Voldemort looked at them disdainfully. "You who uphold peace and unity, what do you think your kindness and justice can bring?"

Diana firmly replied, "We believe that love and tolerance, cooperation and understanding are the foundation of strong unity. Therefore, we must avoid bloody wars and benefit everyone in the wizarding world."

Teddar Arukard added, “We will examine history based on the truth, eliminate misunderstandings and prejudices, and restore peace and justice in the wizarding world! We will tell people that only through tolerance and reconciliation can we grow together.”
