She smiled at the audience and said in a confident voice, "Distinguished audience members and fellow candidates, I understand Mr. Voldemort's concerns, but we cannot let fear and prejudice cause us to lose sight of our common goal."

"Are you going to face the risk that one in every two of your offspring will be a dud?"

"Going forward to the next generation, there's a risk of two duds out of every three?"

"From now on, only one in ten... will be at risk of becoming a wizard?"

After Voldemort finished speaking, the audience in the hall fell silent. They were lost in thought, seemingly shaken and doubted by Voldemort's words.
