Chapter 750
Harry looked at the test paper that Tyrell had taken out, and a feeling of endless despair suddenly welled up in his heart.
But when Harry looked up and met Tyella's unwavering gaze, he knew he could no longer escape; Tyella was determined to make him finish these questions.
“Okay, okay, I, I, I’ll do my best on these problems,” Harry said helplessly, then shook his head, trying to cheer himself up.
But it was quickly stopped by a warm, gentle hand.
“Simply shaking your head won’t increase your knowledge,” Tierra joked. “Practice will increase your knowledge. Come on, Harry, let’s start with this question.”
Tierra's long, slender fingers tapped the exam paper that was now on Harry's desk.
Harry followed Tierra's finger, his gaze falling on the exam paper. He read the questions slowly and painfully, trying to recall what Tierra had taught in class and attempting to understand the mathematical and dimensional concepts.
Harry pondered the solution, then began to calculate on the test paper with his pen.
About ten minutes later, Harry stopped writing, paused, then continued scribbling a few more strokes, and then—
Harry cautiously looked up, trying to see what Tyrell was doing.
The sunlight on a midsummer morning streamed through the mottled windows of the dark magic classroom, as if gilding everything inside with a thin layer of gold.
Tiera sat on a high chair behind the podium, quietly reading a book, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned, always with that calm and serene smile.
"What? You're done? So fast?" Seemingly noticing Harry's gaze, Tyella raised her eyelids and looked at Harry with her bright eyes.
“Ah, I, I, I haven’t… um… there’s a question I can’t answer,” Harry said awkwardly. “I forgot how to solve it. I mean, I wrote it down in my notebook, but I didn’t bring it with me.” “Use Tyler to expand,” Tierra said casually before lowering her head to continue reading her book. “You’re not allowed to bring notes or other study materials into the exam room, you’ll have to get used to it.”
"Uh, okay," Harry said, looking down at his head somewhat bewildered. He wanted to continue solving the problem, but for some reason, he felt a commotion in his mind.
Harry looked down at the problem for a while, then looked up at Tyella, then looked down at the problem for a while, then looked up at Tyella again.
Time passed by, second by second, and the ticking of the modern clock on the wall became the only sound in this quiet classroom.
"Why are you looking at me? Do I have the answer on my face?" Tiera closed the book in her hand helplessly and then gently tossed it onto the podium.
"Oh no, it's nothing, it's just that this question is too difficult," Harry said, blushing.
“Half an hour, Harry, it’s been half an hour.” Tierra walked over and pointed at Harry’s test paper. “You’ve only done one question.”
“And this question is still wrong.” Tiera picked up the test paper, glanced at it briefly, and said.
"I, I, I, I, I," Harry stammered.
“I understand the pressure you’re under, but knowledge changes everything, Harry,” Tierra said.
