Suddenly, a loud "bang!" came from the window next to them, startling everyone. Yu Xiuming paused, realizing he had typed the wrong code, and the software instantly crashed and went into self-destruct mode. "Tsk!" Yu Xiuming grumbled impatiently. Now all the code and software had to be redone. Yu Xiuming looked up at the person who had slammed the table, and after recognizing who it was, he smirked. Who said he was a single dog? Well, here comes the person who's going to end his single life.

"Who is she?" Wang He asked, puzzled.

Luo Heng was now fully awake. He glanced at the man, yawned, and said, "Xiu Ming's ex-girlfriend, you don't even know this? Do you even care about your brother?"

"Hehe..." Wang He chuckled awkwardly.

Yu Xiuming adjusted his glasses and looked at Luo Heng, saying, "She's my girlfriend!"

Luo Heng gave a wicked laugh. "You're really shameless. She's already dumped you." "Do you believe she came here to get back together with me?" Yu Xiuming said confidently, looking at the person who came in through the main door.

"I don't believe you!" Luo Heng said dismissively.

"Yu Xiuming!" Xu Baiyun quickly walked to Yu Ming's side.

"Are you here to get back together with me?" Yu Xiuming looked up at Xu Baiyun and smiled.

"No." Xu Baiyun shook her head.

Yu Xiuming's smile vanished instantly. He turned to the other side, his back to Xu Baiyun, and said, "I told you we're not getting back together, so don't come looking for me."

"But you're the only one I can think of," Xu Baiyun said, her voice trembling with tears. "Yu Xiuming, no one can help me! Please."

Yu Xiuming turned to look at her and saw that Xu Baiyun looked like she had been crying. Her eyes were wet and swollen, indicating that she had already cried once.

With a sigh, Yu Xiuming pulled her down to sit. "Fine, I give up. What's wrong?" If Xu Baiyun had been more accommodating back then, how could they have ended up breaking up? He had made a harsh promise that Xu Baiyun would have to come and beg for reconciliation herself.

Xu Baiyun sobbed for a moment and then recounted the whole story.

A man in a suit walked into the Shen family home. He respectfully greeted, "Mr. Shen!"

Shen Hongxin looked up at him and asked, "What is it?"

The visitor glanced at Shen Hongxin's parents and Qiu Li. Shen Hongxin realized this was a sensitive matter and stood up, saying, "Mom and Dad, Lili, you two talk first. I need to take care of something."

The group nodded. After Shen Hongxin left, Shen's mother took Qiu Li's hand and said, "Lili, you're so good at talking. I like girls like you. Let's find a date so our two families can meet and finalize your marriage."

Qiu Li smiled gently and said, "Okay, Auntie, that's what my mom and the others said too."

After glancing at Shen Hongxin who was going upstairs, Qiu Li smiled and said, "Auntie, I'm going to the restroom."

Shen's mother nodded, but once Qiu Li was out of sight, her face immediately fell, and she said with dissatisfaction, "You've made me laugh all day, I'm so tired!"
