Chapter 94 All the blood of this world belongs to me

Chapter 94 All the blood of this world belongs to me

The castle gate was dark and crowded.

Simon Dole tugged at his heavy chainmail helmet, gripped his gleaming lance, and stood behind his knight master—his cousin, Anglico Dole, who was seventeen years his senior—and regulated his breathing.

Surrounding him and behind him were countless knights and warriors, standing densely behind the castle gates. Each of them had a different expression; some were trembling with tension, some had resolute eyes that looked ready to die, and some had blank faces and unfocused eyes. Many people were whispering among themselves, and Simon vaguely heard words like "monster" and "total annihilation."

His cousin, Knight Anglico, nodded to the middle-aged man in the purple robe beside him, who then turned and left. Simon recognized him as the mage Shiri, who came from the Tower of Souls and was the current mage advisor of Swordlake City.

But why did he leave? Simon wondered: The Soul Tower has been destroyed, where could he go?
The knight Anglico mounted his horse, lifted his helmet, and glanced worriedly at Simon, who tried to stand up straighter.

"I am, after all, a knight's squire..." Simon thought nervously. "I must not embarrass myself in my first battle serving my cousin."

Knight Anglico did not look at his cousin again, but instead raised his head with a firm expression, turned his horse around, and looked at the dark mass of knights and soldiers.

"They're right outside the door!"

He shouted: “Those shameful followers: Ludors, Niedas, Carenzas, Red Earthmen, Northerners, Far Easterners—and perhaps other damned races, all sorts and kinds!”

“But I don’t care!” Angli’s resolute eyes swept over everyone: “Because they all have one thing in common—”

Anglige drew his longsword from his saddle and roared, "I won't live much longer!"

Almost all the knights and warriors raised their weapons, either striking them or holding them high. Amidst the clanging of metal and the hail of spears and blades, everyone followed their commander and instinctively roared, "woo-ah!"

Simon was among them, shouting especially loudly—which gave him a lot of confidence as he entered the battlefield for the first time.

"The victory of the Northerners proves that they—those monsters, those calamities—are not invincible!" Anglico shouted. "And we are facing... nothing but a remnant army!"

Many people gripped their weapons tightly.

We will crush them!

"woo-ah!"

"Open the city gates!" Anglige shouted the order.

The soldiers on top of the city gate turned the winch, and the castle gate began to rise.

Anglico, the commander of this assault force, rode to the front of the column, and Simon quickly followed, gripping his gun.

"After you open the gate, whatever you see, remember..."

Commander Angligo, holding aloft the iron-colored longsword inherited from the Knights' Temple, delivered a powerful voice that resonated in the ears of every warrior:

"We are the children of Thornland, the warriors of the Thornland, the guardians of the southwestern lands!"

"woo-ah!"

"We would rather shed blood for freedom than yield to fear—the light of the Republic shone on our ancestors, and even the mightiest empire could not erase it!"

"woo-ah!"

"Dragons, elves, orcs, or even the most wicked empires, none can make us kneel—the children of thorns are born to rebel!"

"woo-ah!"

"May the light of Errol forever protect Swordlake City! Son of Thorns, advance!"

"woo-ah!"

The gate finally rose to the top.

Simon stood beside his cousin, looking at the shield on his saddle painted with a pattern of thorns and rapiers.

"I am a member of the Dorrey family," he said, gripping his spear and gazing out of the city gate.

There was a menacing army there, but they couldn't hide their exhaustion and injuries, and their numbers were fewer than theirs.

Are these the supporters and followers of those calamities?
Simon shook his head, clearing the distracting thoughts from his mind.

We, the Dolai family, have protected Swordlake City for generations.

I am the son of thorns.

I was born to rebel!

The knight Anglico put down his longsword and took the lance that Simon was holding tightly in his hand.

“Keep up with the formation, Simon,” Angli hesitated for a second, then frowned and whispered to Simon, “If things don’t go well…”

Simon was taken aback.

"There's a secret passage in the ditch on the left side of the south city gate," my cousin said, finishing his last sentence.

what?
密道
Before Simon could react, the knight Anglico swung his lance fiercely, superhuman strength surging into his arm, and spurred his horse into a gallop.

What does "cousin" mean?
Simon drew his sword from his waist, his whole body trembling uncontrollably, and followed the main force out of the gate.

He saw that they had set up their formation in a very short time, with knights in front, infantry on the sides, and archers behind.

He saw his cousin roar, kick his horse's belly, and the horse's trot quickened, with the knights beside him following fearlessly.

He saw the infantry commander turn around, draw his longsword, and raise his shield to let them advance.

He saw the archers unleash two volleys of arrows, exchanging a hail of arrows with the enemy. He strained to hold up his shield, feeling the tremors on it—many infantrymen were falling in the rain of arrows.

He saw the knights roar in unison, lower their lances, and charge in rows, different kinds of supernatural powers appearing with them.

He saw that his cousin's hands also emanated the extraordinary power taught in the Knights' Temple; with a flick of his wrist, he raised his spear horizontally towards the enemy.

He saw himself raising his longsword high, following along with the roar of the infantry.

then.

He saw his cousin directly in front of him.

One appeared abruptly.

Girl.

The cousin raised his gun and stabbed her without hesitation.

--------

Simon Corleone was startled.

He wakes up.

The vampire marquis's thoughts drifted from the knight's squire more than six hundred years ago back to the present day, more than six hundred years later, back to the birch forest unique to the northern border of the stars.

He looked at what was in front of him in fear—

She is still that same girl.

The battle broke out without warning.

"Make your move," Cortrina commanded coldly.

"die!"

Two vampire warriors from the Holy Blood Legion appeared one after the other beside the strange girl, while another warrior appeared menacingly in mid-air, attacking from above!

The girl gently raised her head and smiled.

Simon reached out to the solemn-faced Queen of the Night, Her Majesty Cortrina, and cried out in terror, "No!"

Beside him, the seven or eight-year-old boy—Thales—said to the two people beside him with frustration:

"How did they start fighting?"

As they spoke, the three warriors of the Holy Blood Legion ruthlessly extended their claws, which were as sharp as steel blades.

Cortina frowned, staring intently at the girl.

But the girl still smiled, completely unconcerned about the danger opposite her, and didn't even put up any resistance.

The next moment, everyone watching, including Cortrina and Thales, had their pupils shrink.

what happened?

"laugh!"

The vampire in front ripped through the girl's chest with a claw, tearing out a bloody heart.

"Shh!"

The vampires behind her cut the unresponsive girl in half at the waist, blood flowing everywhere.

"puff!"

With a grab and twist, the vampire above ripped the girl's head off her thin neck, pulling out a section of spinal cord, and arterial blood gushed out like a fountain.

In a bloody and cruel manner, the girl's body was instantly severed into three pieces!
Blood splattered everywhere.

Thales suppressed his nausea and frowned slightly—he saw that Serena still looked desperate, but Chris Corleone beside her had a deep frown on his face.

Three vampire warriors instantly killed the enemy.

Their unusual ease left them bewildered, but they still respectfully returned to the Queen's side and meticulously presented the girl's head.

Looking at the girl's head and her smiling face before she died, Cortrina let out a low growl.

that's it?
Isn't that too easy?
This is... Serena's reinforcements?
Only Serena, surrounded by others, had a blank look in her eyes and was chuckling strangely.

Everyone sensed something was amiss.

Just then, Ada's eyes widened and she shouted, "No!"

Those who had already suspected something immediately looked at the girl's body on the ground.

But nothing changed about the two headless corpses.

The situation on the field suddenly changed in the next moment.

"Ah!" Several screams suddenly rang out!
The screams came from the three vampire warriors who had killed the victims!
All three of them were seen clutching their chests and abdomens tightly, bending over deeply.

One person even collapsed to the ground in agony!

"Your Majesty!" He scratched his chest and abdomen, his face contorted as if he were enduring the most terrible torment in the world.

Cortrina looked at the miserable state of her three subordinates with shock and anger.

Is it poison?
Thales looked up, a surge of emotion welling up in his eyes.

Immediately afterwards, he opened his mouth in surprise.

Within those three vampires radiated a crimson light that was far more dazzling than that of anyone else!

Just as Cortlina was about to carefully check on her subordinates, a figure moving faster than the speed of sound appeared in a flash beside the queen and dragged her backward before Cortlina could react.

"No, Your Majesty!" Simon, now in his true form, dragged the furious Cortrina along, shaking his head agitatedly. "We must retreat!"

"Ahhhhhh—No—"

“It’s so hot—”

"Something—something—there's something!"

The screams of the three vampire warriors grew increasingly terrifying, and two anxious comrades appeared beside them, rushing to check on them.

“Whatever that thing is,” Thales said anxiously to Ada and Rolf, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at the scene through the strange fluctuations, “I think we should all go first—”

But he hadn't finished speaking.

"boom!"

Thales instinctively closed his eyes and covered his ears.

A huge explosion and a deafening roar suddenly erupted!
Everyone stared in disbelief as three elite Holy Blood Legion warriors burst open like blown-up balloons!

They exploded into countless large and small limbs and torsos, along with thousands of drops of crimson blood, which flew in all directions!

Two comrades who were nearby and caught in the blast collapsed to the ground, convulsing for a while before beginning to scream in agony.

"Damn it!" Cortlina roared as she flung the gate away.

But then, something even stranger happened.

The blood and severed limbs scattered on the ground seemed to have a life of their own, moving and converging on one spot.

The blood flowed merrily across the ground, coalescing into a crimson sphere!
Thales frowned: he swore he had witnessed the most disgusting scene of his life.
A severed vampire hand, relying on the pull of its fingers on the ground, nimbly crawled towards the blood-red sphere. With a powerful leap, its five fingers jumped into the sphere that appeared to be made of blood.

It's not just the severed hand that can move on its own.

There are also rolling calves, lips opening and closing as they move forward, a contracting and moving stomach, thriving organs, even bouncy eyeballs, a brain "laboriously" rolling, and a spinal cord that meanders forward like a snake!

They all, like servants summoned by their master, joyfully melted into that crimson blood sphere!

"boom!"

The two vampires who fell to the ground screaming in agony were then blown into blood-stained limbs that scattered in all directions.

Their blood and severed limbs instantly "came back to life" and merged into the large sphere that had swelled to the height of a person!
Cortina stared in astonishment at what she was seeing—it was beyond her comprehension of the world.

The vampires looked at each other in terror, pleading for help. Simon stared intently at the sphere, recalling his most horrific memories.

"You slut! What have you done!" the Queen roared furiously at Serena.

“As long as we all die here,” Serena laughed sadly, “we will be freed from his curse!”

Chris sighed.

Thales, feeling a strong urge to vomit, covered his mouth.

"What the hell is that?" Thales pointed at the sphere and the limbs bouncing around it, staring incredulously at the bizarre scene before him, and mumbled incoherently.

“I don’t know,” Ada stared blankly, as if she were terrified, “but I don’t want to die that way…”

Rolf looked terrified and frantically gestured with his hands.

【horrible! 】

At that moment, the sphere finally stopped expanding.

The crimson sphere slowly shrank, and at the same time, a hand suddenly emerged from the sphere of blood.

That's a person.

Everyone stared blankly at the smiling, eerie girl, watching her emerge naked from the sphere, her head and body covered in blood.

“I told you,” the girl said with a smile, her eyes closed.
"It will hurt."

"What the hell are you?!" Cortrina gritted her teeth and shouted angrily.

The girl raised her head, wiped the blood from around her eyes, revealing her skin and pupils, and looked at Cortrina.

"Aren't you His Majesty?" the girl laughed. "What, didn't they tell you when you ascended the throne?"

Cortina looked puzzled.

"Ah, I suppose you didn't ascend the throne properly?" The young woman smiled gently, but then shook her head, her smile strange.

"Or……"

"That bitch Bloodthorn has already given up on you guys?"

In that instant, Cortrina's eyes flashed with shock and fear.

Thales frowned.

Bloodthorn.

It's that name again.

And this girl... I hope she's not what I imagine...

Thales gritted his teeth and decided to ignore what was happening here and run away first.

Just then, the girl took a step.

Everyone tensed up and instinctively wanted to back away.

Only one person, under the watchful eyes of everyone, walked forward step by step, forlornly.

It's Serena.

Chris, standing behind her, looked hesitant and reluctant.

"As agreed..."

"I have brought you the Black Coffin of the Underworld..."

Thales looked on in astonishment, while Serena, pale-faced, lowered her head and knelt down, trembling.

"Lord Blood Mage".

For a moment, the arena fell silent.

Thales opened his mouth wide and covered his face with it.

What you guessed came true.

He turned to Rolf.

"Was that your former boss?" Thales frowned.

But the latter was also ashen-faced, gesturing as he said, "Never seen this before!"

Thales gestured back with a grim expression.

【All right. 】

Run!

Rolf tightened his grip on the steel prosthetic leg and calmly picked up Thales.

“Yes,” the Blood Mage smiled charmingly, “a promise that’s two hundred years overdue.”

“I’m so sorry, my lord,” Serena said bitterly, “when I did it…”

“So,” the Blood Mage clearly wasn’t going to listen to her explanation, but just smiled as he looked at the black coffin in the distance, “how do we open it?”

Cortina's expression changed.

But Serena did not look at her sister.

She simply closed her eyes, looking completely unconcerned, and said:
"With the monarch's key, and with my blood."

“Very good,” the Blood Mage repeated with a beaming smile, “Use your blood.”

The Blood Mage gently reached out and touched Serena's face.

The next moment, Serena suddenly showed a pained expression.

But at that moment, an unexpected figure roared in without hesitation!

"what!"

Chris Corleone roared as he transformed into his true form, flapping his bone wings.

"laugh!"

He severed the Blood Mage's hand with a single palm strike!

Then, to the astonishment of the Blood Mage, Chris turned around, pulled the dejected Serena, and threw her more than ten meters away!

This is?

Serena was startled and looked at the old butler while in mid-air.

“Chris…” she murmured.

"Your Highness Serena!" Chris Corleone roared, violently tearing off the Blood Mage's other hand with his claw, "You cannot give up!"

"Even someone as terrifying as him couldn't subdue you, let alone this monster!"

"Resist! Resist forever! Keep resisting until freedom arrives!"

Serena shuddered, gritted her teeth, and crashed to the ground.

But the next moment, the Blood Mage's severed hand pressed down on Chris's body!
The latter immediately let out a miserable scream!
"Ah-"

He closed his eyes, knelt down abruptly as if being tortured, and his pair of bony wings twitched incessantly.

Immediately, crimson smoke began to rise from Chris's entire body!
“Look, your blood is boiling,” the armless blood mage bent down, looking at him with a smile, “Life is burning!” *Whoosh!*

The next moment, with a look of resignation to his fate, Simon Corleone rushed to the side of the Blood Mage at an imperceptible speed and with a chop to the neck, severed the blood-red girl's head!

“You’re really bad, old man.” Simon gritted his teeth, suppressing his fear, and turned to say.

Chris finally relaxed, his face ashen, and he was panting heavily.

“Heh,” he said with a bitter laugh, “So it was you who saved me, Simon.”

“Shut up, old man,” Simon’s gaze, a mixture of fear and hatred, shifted from the Blood Mage’s mangled body to Chris: “Of the three of you, I hate you the most.”

Cortina's voice rang out at just the right moment:

"Leave five men to cover the retreat!"

She flew into the air, screaming and giving orders:
"Everyone else, take the black coffins and retreat immediately!"

Without hesitation, two of the remaining seven vampire warriors from the Holy Blood Legion flew towards the black coffin.

One in front and one behind, they carried the black coffin.

But the next moment, a head grew out of the blood-red girl's mangled body!
What makes it so bizarre is that the head didn't grow out of the neck, but rather it emerged from between her breasts, tearing open her chest!
This is... Chris and Simon looked at each other in disbelief: What monster?

"Nobody can run away!" To Chris and Simon's horror, the head on the chest lifted its eyes and smiled happily.

"I would be very distressed if those people found out."

"None of them can run away."

The Blood Mage took a small step forward, raised his only remaining hand, and proclaimed loudly from the head on his chest:
"The blood of this world."

"All of them belong to me."

The next second, a terrifying tremor came from underground.

"Rumble..."

Chris and Simon stared at the ground in surprise, then looked at each other.

what is this?
--------

With Rolf in his arms, Thales and the other two tiptoed about twenty steps away from Ada.

At this moment.

"Boom—thud!"

A figure descended from the sky!

It crashed onto the snow in front of Thales.

Thales's expression changed.

He looked at Serena, who had fallen from the sky, with a distressed expression, and sighed, "Why is it you again?"

Serena, severely injured, struggled to her feet, using one hand to support herself against a birch tree. She looked at them with a fierce expression.

Chris...did he deliberately dump me here?
Did he think the boy had some other way out?

Serena's eyes suddenly lit up.

She suddenly remembered something—no wonder, no wonder Chris wanted me to go with them.

"Make a deal, take me away." She said coldly, "I won't stop you from leaving."

Thales was stunned for a moment, then a surge of anger welled up inside him: That old hag!
But a faint chuckle could be heard from within the arena from the Blood Mage:
"None of them can run away."

A tremor came from underground.

The next moment, Ada roared and shoved Rolf and Thales away, while Serena also flew up in surprise.

"bass!"

The elf spun around, his scimitar flashing as he severed a section of tree root that had sprouted from the ground!
"Take him away first!"

Ada roared, then turned and chopped off a tree root that was trying to chase Thales.

But one, two, three... more roots burst forth from the ground, swirling toward Eda.

The elf roared and swung its blades at the tree roots in all directions!
Rolf and Serena struggled to climb the taller tree.

Damn...

Thales stared in astonishment at these tree roots... What kind of power is this?
He caught a glimpse of Serena out of the corner of his eye; she was right next to them.

“You made this mess yourself,” Thales said fiercely, hugging Rolf’s neck. “Why should I clean it up?”

But Serena didn't have time to answer him.

Because the birch trees on both sides have actually "come back to life"!

"boom!"

The birch tree consciously swayed its huge branches, suddenly whipping them back the way they came!

With no way to avoid it, Rolf's expression changed, and he could only unleash a fierce wind to barely hold back the branch.

"boom!"

But from behind him, a dozen more tree branches lashed out!

Rolf's expression changed.

This time, the Wind Demon made a desperate attempt, throwing Thales out of the woods into the clearing!
"boom!"

Immediately afterwards, Rolf was struck by branches from all sides and fell toward Edda.

No.

As Thales watched the snow getting closer and closer, he had no choice but to close his eyes.

Until he was embraced by an arm.

"Boom!"

Serena, holding Thales with one arm, fell to the ground in the snow and rolled twice.

Thales, panting, was picked up by Serena. The two looked at each other and each grunted.

“I just saved your life, so of course I can take it back… For your own sake…” Serena said viciously, “Take me away now—I know you have a way, Morat said your relationship with the magic user is ambiguous…”

"Shit!"

Thales was also in a terrible mood. He clung awkwardly to Serena's neck, completely oblivious to the softness of her chest, and couldn't help but interrupt her with a curse: "You're the one who's having an affair with a magic user, your whole family is with magic users..."

But they ran into a group of acquaintances.

"Ugly-faced hag, you dare to come back!" In a terrible mood, Cortrina had already transformed back into human form. She landed on the ground and said angrily, "And you, kid... are you looking for death?"

Behind her, two vampires carrying a black coffin swept over.

“I didn’t want to either,” Thales said through gritted teeth, “thanks to your good sister!”

"boom!"

The next moment, several more tree roots emerged from the ground!
"Watch out!" Thales exclaimed.

Cortrina flew swiftly, only to be met with shock and anger as she watched the two vampires carrying the black coffin being tightly entangled by tree roots!
"Ahhhh-"

The two vampires, caught in the tree roots, let out a thunderous roar, which quickly turned into a painful scream.

Thales and Serena dodged away, watching in horror as countless tiny roots sprouted from the tree roots that were entangled around them, piercing the skin of the two vampires!

The flesh and blood of the two vampires rapidly withered and dried up, turning into the same color as the tree roots, then merging into the tree roots, and finally burrowing into the ground with them.

"Are you sure she's a Blood Mage?" Thales frowned and shouted, "Not a Tree Mage?"

Compared to the clear and distinct abilities of the air mage he had met before, he had no idea what the abilities of the blood mage were.

Blood, resurrection, and fragments of corpses, and now trees—good heavens, what else can she possibly do?
and.

Thales sighed, suddenly realizing with genuine emotion that compared to the Blood Mage, Ashida was superior in every way—

They're all good people.

Compared to that kind of death... squeezing a human ball is like VIP treatment.

Serena, carrying Thales, climbed onto the black coffin, dodging the attack of two tree roots. "I don't know," she said through gritted teeth, "I'm not a prophet!"

The tree roots seemed to have a deep fear of the black coffin, and dared not enter its area, but merely hovered around, seemingly waiting consciously.

Cortina also leaped onto the black coffin.

The two sisters' eyes met, and hatred and disgust surged into their hearts at the same time, causing them to roar out loud!

"Crybaby!"

"Ugly-faced woman!"

---------

Five vampire warriors flew up.

The strangely shaped blood magic master let out a laugh.

She raised her severed hand.

Before the five vampires could even get close to her, they trembled and collapsed to the ground beside the magic master!

The next moment, everyone groaned in pain.

"monster!"

Chris roared and pounced, his corrosive acidic blood spreading out and instantly corroding half of the Blood Mage's body!
"Ah, you're going to use blood against me?"

The Blood Mage smiled, and the acidic blood that filled the air trembled, flowing into her body.

Chris watched in astonishment as the Blood Mage absorbed his blood.

The latter seemed to have inhaled the finest drugs, exclaiming in exaggerated admiration, and then... without a care, he ripped off his crooked head!
He pieced it back onto his neck.

"monster?"

The Blood Mage shook his head, feeling the connection between his neck and head, exhaled, and smiled slightly as he looked at the five groaning vampires.

"Don't say that..." she chuckled softly, "Aren't you all about to become monsters too..."

Simon flew up behind the Blood Mage, ready to strike, when he was horrified by what he saw before him.

The five vampires who were kneeling and groaning suddenly began to scream in agony!
A vampire warrior watched in horror as a cloud of blood mist burst from his chest, and from the hole that had been blasted open, a blood-red hand suddenly grew out and began to writhe!
It's the color of a newborn baby.

"Ah—no!" This soldier, who was usually the most resolute, now began to scream in a choked voice as he looked at the strange arm writhing in front of his chest:

"help me!"

Suddenly, a strange eye opened on the back of the hand.

Then, as if it had a mind of its own, this hand grabbed the soldier's head!

"boom!"

They ripped his head off alive.

Blood spurted out in all directions.

Chris and Simon stared blankly at the scene.

The other four warriors met a similar fate.

A strange tentacle grew from one of her eyes and ripped her heart out alive.

A person's spinal cord was pierced into their back by a suddenly growing hair, and torn into more than a dozen pieces.

One of the men suddenly grew another identical head from his shoulder, which kept grinning at him, until the warrior, out of fear, cut off the head from his shoulder and died inexplicably.

The most terrifying creature was one that sprouted two mouths with fangs from its palms, then lunged at the body and began to devour it alive.

"Ahh! What is this?!"

"No! No! Let me go!"

"Monster! Die! Die!"

"No! No! Ah—"

"Boom!" Unable to bear it any longer, Simon made a decisive move, tearing the Blood Mage's body in two once again!

Then, with a turn, he relieved the warrior, whose body was being devoured by his own hand, of his suffering.

But Simon did not come away unscathed.

The claw that had torn the mage apart immediately began to twitch uncontrollably and swell.

"laugh!"

Simon frowned and, without hesitation, cut off his own arm!

“I thought you were too scared to make a move,” Chris sighed, standing up unsteadily. “You know who she is, don’t you?”

Simon looked at his severed arm, which had fallen to the ground and was now twitching wildly, with mixed feelings. He also looked at his entire body, which was trembling almost uncontrollably.

Do you know what she is?
More than that.

My cousin's last expression appeared before my eyes.

“Yes, of course I’m scared.” But Simon clenched his only remaining claws.

He closed his eyes and said through gritted teeth, "But there is still hatred."

My cousin.

And the entire Sword Lake City...

It was this kind of monster that...

“Haha,” Chris chuckled bitterly, watching the crimson sphere rise again, and spread his bone wings: “It seems my abilities are of no use to her.”

“Nonsense, she can’t kill you at all…” Simon gritted his teeth, took a couple of breaths, and flexed his claws: “If you’re scared, you’d better run for your life.”

"Leave her to me."

Chris scoffed, "You mean, leave you with her?"

The two looked at each other and suddenly smiled at the same time.

"I really miss the old days," Simon said softly, feeling a slight increase in tension and trembling.

“Only the three of you,” Chris said silently, banishing the enormous dark shadow that had loomed over the four of them from his heart.

"Guess how long we can hold out?" Simon clenched his fist.

"Three minutes?" Chris frowned, watching as the blood-red girl—the Blood Mage—emerged once again from the sphere of blood.

“What a lack of ambition,” Simon shook his head dismissively, looking at the girl with a serious expression. “At least…”

"It will take about five minutes."

The blood-red girl slowly walked towards them.

"It's been a long time since I've stretched my muscles," she chuckled. "My pets haven't either."

The two vampires' expressions hardened.

"Boom!"

A loud bang!
Before their terrified eyes, a gigantic, blood-red octopus-like monster, several meters tall and composed of countless severed limbs, burst forth from the snow and rose into the air.

It lashed out a giant tentacle, lifting up the Blood Mage.

"Roar!"

The blood-red tentacle monster stretched out two more tentacles and attacked the two Extreme Realm vampires.

"Is it that one?" Simon asked, his face pale.

“Ah, it seems so,” Chris sighed, preparing to dodge in advance—he didn’t have Simon’s speed:

"Legend has it that in the final battle, Nekaru's mortal enemy..."

"Hydra, Kirika..."

The two vampires flapped their bone wings sharply to avoid the tentacles' attack.

“I just didn’t expect this…” Chris said slowly.

"It's actually..."

"The Blood Mage's Pet..."

The next moment, Chris and Simon, who were dodging in the air, trembled and their bone wings flapped backward, causing them to pounce on the Hydra!
"Damn it!" Chris stared in horror at his uncontrollably flapping bone wings and the ever-growing tentacles in front of him.

Each of the two tentacles split into dozens of even thinner tentacles, exerting tremendous force to tightly entangle the two vampires at the extreme level.

----------

"Boom!" Thales stared blankly at the giant octopus with blood-red tentacles that emerged from the ground—luckily, he didn't go closer to look, otherwise he would probably have vomited at the sight of the writhing limbs inside.

But the other two silver-haired vampires just stared intently at each other.

"This is all the disaster you brought!" Cortrina conjured sharp claws, her eyes gleaming with ferocity.

“I brought it? No,” Serena said defiantly, though severely injured, she brandished her only remaining claw: “I am your calamity, aren’t I?”

“Betraying our family to a mage… are you out of your mind?!” Cortrina bared her sharp fangs.

"Ah, at least I won't get caught by you bunch of idiots..." Serena bent down, preparing to launch a surprise attack.

"stop!"

Among them, Thales looked at the menacing tree roots around them, then dejectedly glanced at the giant blood-red octopus in the distance. Touching her weak heart, she raised her hand and said listlessly, "Halftime!"

"Once we're out of danger, you guys can find a place and tear them to pieces, okay?!"

The two sisters snorted and turned their heads away.

"boom!"

The three of them were shocked to see two vampires at the pinnacle of their cultivation being entangled by two tentacles!
"That's up to you, kid," Serena turned her head and said coldly, "Anyway, you have an unclear relationship with the magic master..."

"How dare you say that?" Thales roared. "You're the one who made a deal with the magic master, giving him the coffin..."

At that moment, Thales had a sudden thought.

He turned to the black coffin at his feet, and then looked around at the tree roots that kept twisting but dared not approach.

“Hey,” Thales stretched out his hands and poked the vampire sisters on either side of him.

"It is said that……"

"Is this tattered coffin a legendary anti-demon weapon?"

Thales thought of Yodl's gray dagger and how it had pierced Ashida's chest.

The prince turned his head to the left and right, looking at the two sisters: "According to you, it's the only weapon that can fight against magic users?"

Cortina glared hatefully at Serena opposite her, and coldly shook her head:
"It's useless... The only function of the Dark Night Coffin is to imprison."

Thales was taken aback.

He scratched his head and asked, "Locked up? Isn't locking him up enough? That disgusting pervert..."

“Idiot, she means that the Dark Coffin of the Night has already imprisoned a mage,” Serena said to Cortrina with disgust under Thales’s questioning gaze, “If it's to imprison a blood mage…”

"We need to release the one inside first."
