What if the Terrans really are saving the world?

[This is not fiction; I was once a Terran.] When a strange blocky being called "Mom," Andrea was bewildered. She was only 180 years old, a minor elf. He called himself Terran, circling her and commenting, "Guide, you're a moe-fied texture pack, absolute territory, stinky feet, a loli mom!" Terran claimed that the world was threatened by the Moon Lord and needed her to save it. But why were slimes raining down from the sky? Why was the land turning into ever-spreading crimson tumors? Why were hundred-meter-long mechanical worms breaking through the soil and rampaging through the town at night? He even threw her into lava just to summon that abomination called [Wall of Flesh]! The Moon Pope launched a punitive expedition against the Terrans, but he turned around and sacrificed himself to the Pope, releasing the evil Moon God whom the Pope had painstakingly sealed away. The Terrans claimed that he had survived to this day thanks to his mother's excellent guidance, while fighting the gods in the heavens until the end. Finally, the gods fell, and mortals rose again. Andrea thought to herself, "What if the Terrans actually really wanted to save the world?"
